The Opportunity

As VP of Product, you will be one of the most critical strategic leaders at Monstro, working alongside the CEO and COO to shape the company’s direction and future. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. It is perfect for someone who can zoom out to define category-shaping strategy while rolling up their sleeves to ship high-impact features in a fast-moving startup.

You will lead the product function from the ground up, partnering with engineering, design, and business leadership to deliver AI-powered experiences for millions of users and industry-leading solutions for global financial institutions. You will take our MVP from early validation to a scalable, global product and transform an ambitious vision into reality.

This is a greenfield opportunity. Monstro’s platform is both deep and wide, with no direct competitors. It is transformational by design, combining AI, financial services, and user empowerment in a way that has never been done before. Your responsibility will be to harness that uniqueness, define how it translates into product experiences, and execute on a roadmap that redefines wealth management and personal finance for the world.

You will also be the first dedicated product leader at Monstro. In addition to executing the roadmap yourself, you will build out and lead a world-class product team over time. Responsibilities

• Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a bold, AI-first product vision that aligns with Monstro’s mission. Translate company strategy into a clear, prioritized roadmap for both consumer and institutional products.
• Execution and Delivery: Balance fast iteration with long-term bets, ensuring we ship features that drive adoption, engagement, and measurable business outcomes.
• AI-Driven Experiences: Partner with AI/ML engineering to turn cutting-edge capabilities into real customer value.
• B2B and B2C Leadership: Develop products that serve both everyday consumers and global institutions, delivering differentiated value across the two-sided model.
• Metrics and Impact: Define success with clear KPIs and own product performance across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and business leadership to create seamless, user-centered solutions.
• Team Building and Leadership: Build and lead the product function at Monstro, recruiting and mentoring top talent while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and velocity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management with experience leading products in fintech, banking, or high-growth consumer tech.
• Track record of building at scale, having shipped 0 to 1 products and scaled them to significant adoption, ideally across both B2C and B2B contexts.
• Fintech or financial services expertise, with knowledge of wealth management, banking operations, and regulatory environments.
• Experience building products powered by data, personalization, or AI/ML.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use metrics for decisions while knowing when intuition and conviction apply.
• Thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to rally teams and inspire stakeholders.
• Skilled at building strong, collaborative relationships across teams, including design, engineering, sales, and customer success.
• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

• Experience managing design functions in addition to product.
• Prior experience with financial institutions at global scale.
