Delivery Analyst

New York City, Hybrid

About Monstro

Monstro is the operating system for governed financial intelligence. We build governance and intelligence infrastructure that enables artificial intelligence to operate safely, explainably, and at institutional scale.

We exist because the level of financial guidance historically available to a small group should be accessible to many more people. By combining AI with deep institutional infrastructure, we help financial institutions deliver more personalized, responsible, and life-changing financial support to millions of individuals.

We’re building mission-critical systems in a highly regulated domain, and we care deeply about doing it right. If you’re motivated by meaningful problems, high standards, and shaping infrastructure that improves financial outcomes, you’ll feel at home here.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Delivery Analyst to join our Client Implementations team and serve as the technical bridge between Monstro and our institutional clients. You’ll be embedded in implementation projects, working directly with client stakeholders to understand their security, infrastructure, and integration requirements—and translating those into clear, actionable documentation that drives our implementation plans.

This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, technical discovery, and client implementation. You need to be comfortable sitting in a room with senior IT stakeholders at major banks, listening carefully, asking the right questions, and turning what you hear into structured documentation that our engineering team can execute against. You’ll regularly represent Monstro directly in client environments, so confidence, professionalism, and technical fluency are essential.

This role is perfect for someone who is technically fluent (but not necessarily a coder), thrives in client-facing situations, and has a knack for making the complex understandable. You’ll facilitate discovery sessions, create technical diagrams, and ensure that nothing gets lost in translation between what clients need and what we deliver.

This is a highly client-facing role that requires significant domestic and international travel to support enterprise implementations and discovery sessions. Candidates should expect to travel approximately 40–50%+ of the time, including potential international assignments depending on client needs.

What You’ll Do

Analyse & Document Client Requirements

  • Attend client meetings alongside the Delivery Manager, capturing requirements, decisions, and action items with precision.
  • Engage with client technical teams, security, IT, and business stakeholders to understand their infrastructure, security posture, and integration needs.
  • Document business and technical requirements clearly and comprehensively—producing clear, structured documentation that enables engineering and delivery teams to execute implementations effectively.
  • Identify dependencies, constraints, and risks early in the engagement and proactively escalate them.
  • Translate client-specific needs into technical specifications our engineering team can execute against, including any custom requirements.

Understand the Technical Landscape

  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of Monstro’s architecture, product capabilities, and standard implementation patterns.
  • Apply this knowledge to assess client requirements and identify best-fit solutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client authentication requirements (SSO, OAuth, SAML, etc.) and security standards.
  • Map out integration patterns—APIs, data flows, system dependencies—and represent them visually.
  • Create technical diagrams (architecture, sequence, data flow) that communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay current on common enterprise infrastructure patterns, particularly in financial services environments.

Facilitate Discovery & Requirements Gathering

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions in partnership with the Delivery Manager.
  • Ask the right questions to uncover unstated assumptions and edge cases.
  • Manage conversations with multiple stakeholders who may have competing priorities.
  • Synthesise input from various sources into a coherent, unified set of requirements.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work closely with the Delivery Manager to ensure requirements inform project planning and timeline.
  • Partner with Monstro’s engineering team to clarify requirements and answer questions during implementation.
  • Escalate technical risks or requirement gaps that could impact delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our discovery and documentation processes.

What You Bring

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical analyst, solutions architect, business analyst, or similar client-facing technical role.
  • Experience working on enterprise software implementations, ideally within financial services, banking, telecoms, or similarly regulated industries with strict SLAs.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns (REST APIs, webhooks, batch processing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with authentication and security concepts (SSO, OAuth, SAML, encryption, network security basics).
  • Ability to create clear technical diagrams (architecture, sequence, data flow) using tools like Lucidchart, Miro, Visio, or similar.
  • Excellent facilitation skills—comfortable leading meetings and workshops with senior, sometimes demanding, client stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills; able to produce documentation that is clear, structured, and actionable.
  • Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-sufficient and resourceful—able to represent Monstro independently in client environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively to client sites (approximately 40–50%+), including potential international travel based on client and project needs.
  • Valid passport and ability to undertake international business travel as required.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in Professional Services, Consulting, or a client-facing role at a software vendor—particularly a startup or growth-stage company selling into large enterprises.
  • Experience working with enterprise or institutional clients on technical implementations.
  • International experience—working with clients across different countries and time zones.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience working with clients in the Financial Services industry, especially banks with rigorous SLA requirements.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience with diagramming standards (UML, C4, ArchiMate).

Why Monstro?

  • Ownership & Impact: Shape the future of AI-powered finance—building a category-defining product used by consumers and institutions around the world.
  • Experienced Team: Join a team with leadership that has a track record of scaling companies from early stage to major exits.
  • Principles-Driven Culture: Work in a culture that values speed, ownership, and impact—what most companies achieve in 90 days, we do in 45.
  • Comprehensive Compensation Package: Competitive salary, equity, and robust benefits package, including paid health, vision, dental, and disability coverage.
    • Compensation Range (New York City): $142,000- $195,700
*The posted range reflects the base salary for this role across the market ranges for each location. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal leveling, and market conditions, and will be offered within the stated range in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.
Please note: This role will have a start date of early to mid July.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
