Delivery Manager - Client Implementation

New York City, Hybrid

About Monstro

Monstro is the operating system for governed financial intelligence. We build governance and intelligence infrastructure that enables artificial intelligence to operate safely, explainably, and at institutional scale.

We exist because the level of financial guidance historically available to a small group should be accessible to many more people. By combining AI with deep institutional infrastructure, we help financial institutions deliver more personalized, responsible, and life-changing financial support to millions of individuals.

We’re building mission-critical systems in a highly regulated domain, and we care deeply about doing it right. If you’re motivated by meaningful problems, high standards, and shaping infrastructure that improves financial outcomes, you’ll feel at home here.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Delivery Manager to lead client implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and beyond. This is a critical founding role - you will lead our first client engagements hands-on while simultaneously building the delivery practice that will scale as we onboard additional enterprise clients. Over time, this role will evolve into the head of the delivery function, leading a growing team of delivery professionals.

This person combines the mindset of a senior project manager with the instincts of a relationship builder. You’ll sit at the intersection of our product, engineering, and client organisations, ensuring every implementation lands successfully within complex enterprise environments—primarily banks and large financial institutions.

Every client environment is different. Each implementation brings its own stakeholders, IT landscape, and organisational dynamics. You need to thrive in ambiguity and know how to drive progress within large, complex organisations.

You’ll help build the delivery framework from the ground up as Monstro prepares to onboard its first institutional clients. This is an opportunity to shape how we deliver implementations for leading financial institutions—establishing the playbook, defining scalable processes, and building the team over time.

This is a highly client-facing role that requires significant domestic and international travel to support enterprise implementations and stakeholder engagement. Candidates should expect to travel approximately 40–50%+ of the time, including potential international assignments.

What You’ll Do

Own Client Implementations End-to-End

  • Lead the full lifecycle of client implementation projects—scoping, planning, execution, go-live, and handover to support.
  • Manage project scope, timeline, resources, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders during implementation.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between Monstro’s product, engineering, design, and support teams and the client’s IT, operations, compliance, and business teams.
  • Deliver the first implementation personally as a hands-on individual contributor before scaling the team.

Build & Navigate Client Relationships

  • Develop deep relationships across client organisations—identify decision-makers, supporters, and potential blockers.
  • Navigate complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and internal politics.
  • Manage client expectations and communications throughout the engagement, including executive-level reporting.
  • Secure necessary sign-offs from IT, operations, compliance, and business teams to keep projects moving.

Build the Delivery Practice

  • Design and implement scalable delivery processes, playbooks, governance models, and implementation methodologies.
  • Define the operating model for the delivery function as Monstro scales from initial enterprise clients to a broader customer base.
  • Hire, mentor, and lead future delivery managers and analysts as the team expands.
  • Continuously improve implementation approaches based on client feedback and operational learnings.

Collaborate Across the Organization

  • Work closely with the VP of Client Support to ensure a clean handover from implementation to ongoing operations.
  • Partner with product and engineering to feed client requirements and implementation learnings back into the product roadmap.
  • Coordinate with the go-to-market team on client onboarding and training activities.
  • Contribute to pre-sales efforts where implementation expertise is needed to close deals.

What You Bring

Required:

  • Proven track record delivering software or SaaS implementations into large enterprise clients—banks, financial institutions, telecoms, or government.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 40–50%+), including frequent client-site visits and international assignments as required (e.g. Middle East, Europe).
  • Experience at a startup or growth-stage company that sold software or SaaS services to large enterprises—not solely large consulting or systems integrator backgrounds.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills—you know how to map an organisation, find your champions, and neutralise blockers.
  • Comfortable operating as an individual contributor on the first engagements while thinking strategically about building a scalable practice.
  • Experience with enterprise clients who have strict SLAs around support, uptime, and delivery—you understand what it means to not miss a commitment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level stakeholder management.
  • Valid passport and ability to undertake international business travel as required, including maintaining any necessary travel documentation and work authorization.

Strongly Preferred:

  • International experience—managing global clients, distributed teams, or cross-border implementations.
  • Background in building a delivery or professional services practice from the ground up.
  • Experience being a player-coach: excited to do the work yourself today and build the team that does it tomorrow, while still remaining hands-on.

Why Monstro?

  • Ownership & Impact: Shape the future of AI-powered finance—building a category-defining product used by consumers and institutions around the world.
  • Experienced Team: Join a team with leadership that has a track record of scaling companies from early stage to major exits.
  • Principles-Driven Culture: Work in a culture that values speed, ownership, and impact—what most companies achieve in 90 days, we do in 45.
  • Comprehensive Compensation Package: Competitive salary, equity, and robust benefits package, including paid health, vision, dental, and disability coverage.
    • Compensation Range (New York City): $201,000 - $278,350
*The posted range reflects the base salary for this role across the market ranges for each location. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal leveling, and market conditions, and will be offered within the stated range in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.
Please note: This role will have a start date of early to mid July.

A Note on Interviewing: We sometimes use AI note-takers to help us transcribe interview notes, so we can be more present in your interview. If you’d like to opt out of us using automatic transcribers, please note this in the free text field in your application, otherwise we’ll take your application as confirmation that you’re happy for us to use notetakers (whether added to video calls or in the background).

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
