Growth Marketing Lead

New York City, Hybrid

About Monstro

Monstro is a Financial Intelligence company. We provide the AI-powered Financial Intelligence System for regulated financial institutions, helping them deliver personalized Financial Guidance at scale while retaining control of their data, expertise, policies and client relationships.

We believe financial institutions have the opportunity to become the place their clients turn when they need to make an important financial decision. Monstro brings together Client Intelligence, Institution Intelligence and Monstro Intelligence to help institutions understand what matters, why it matters and what should happen next — all within a framework of Trusted Governance.

We are building mission-critical technology in a highly regulated domain, and we care deeply about getting it right.

About the Role

Monstro is moving from building largely behind the scenes to establishing an active presence in the market. We are looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to build and operate the systems that make Monstro increasingly visible, credible and discoverable to the financial institutions and industry leaders that matter. This is an AI-native, hands-on marketing builder role — not a traditional growth-marketing position.

Monstro sells a complex enterprise product to a concentrated universe of senior banking and wealth executives. We care much more about authority with the right audience than generating large quantities of anonymous traffic, leads or impressions. You will own Monstro's Market Authority & Discoverability engine across our website, traditional and AI search, content and executive thought leadership, distribution, analytics and marketing operations — while supporting a highly targeted enterprise GTM motion. You will inherit a clear company point of view and an initial execution plan. Your job is not to blindly execute it. You will establish the real baseline, challenge our assumptions, improve the plan where the evidence supports it, and then own execution and measurement.

You should be equally comfortable defining the strategy, editing a webpage, configuring HubSpot, analyzing search or AI visibility, turning an executive conversation into compelling content, experimenting with a new AI workflow, and figuring out what needs to happen next without waiting for someone else to do it. Most importantly, you should have very little attachment to how marketing work used to be done. The tools available today are dramatically different from those available even six months ago. We expect this role to continuously rethink how a small team can produce exceptional work faster and with more leverage.

What You'll Own

Market Authority & Discoverability

Build and continuously improve Monstro's presence across traditional search, AI answer engines and the broader financial-services market. This includes:

  • treating SEO, AEO and GEO as parts of one integrated Market Authority & Discoverability system;
  • technical and on-page search fundamentals;
  • monitoring how Monstro appears across Google and leading AI platforms;
  • identifying which companies, publications and sources currently own the questions that matter to our buyers;
  • improving Monstro's authority, discoverability, citation presence and category association;
  • establishing a repeatable baseline and reporting system for traditional and AI search.

The goal is not generic traffic. It is to ensure that when the people and systems influencing financial institutions research the problems Monstro solves, they increasingly encounter Monstro and understand us correctly.

Website & Digital Presence

Own the marketing side of Monstro.com as an evolving enterprise and authority asset. You will:

  • manage and improve website content;
  • ensure Monstro's category and positioning are consistently represented;
  • partner on technical SEO, structured data, crawlability and analytics;
  • build durable category, solution and thought-leadership resources;
  • rapidly create and iterate website experiences using modern AI and no-code/low-code tools where appropriate;
  • ensure our digital presence reinforces enterprise GTM rather than operating independently from it.

Content & Executive Thought Leadership

Build a low-friction system for turning the expertise already inside Monstro into market authority.

You will work closely with leadership and subject-matter experts to turn:

  • executive conversations;
  • Product and governance expertise;
  • customer and market insights;
  • conference talks;
  • original research;
  • internal frameworks into compelling market-facing content.

You should be able to take a 30-minute conversation with an executive and turn it into:

  • a strong point-of-view piece;
  • durable website content;
  • executive social content;
  • sales-ready material;
  • conference or media angles;
  • additional search and AI-discoverable source material.

Distribution & Earned Authority

Ensure strong Monstro ideas travel beyond Monstro.com.

Develop the appropriate mix of:

  • executive social amplification;
  • industry publications;
  • podcasts and interviews;
  • advisor and analyst engagement;
  • conference amplification;
  • earned media;
  • high-quality third-party references and backlinks;
  • other emerging discovery surfaces.

The objective is not PR volume. It is to establish credible third-party authority around the ideas and categories Monstro intends to own.

Marketing Operations & Analytics

Own the infrastructure that allows us to understand whether our marketing activity is actually working.

This includes:

  • HubSpot architecture and marketing workflows;
  • tracking and attribution;
  • segmentation;
  • Google Search Console and web analytics;
  • AI-search visibility reporting;
  • account-level engagement signals where useful;
  • dashboards and reporting;
  • campaign and channel analysis.

You should be able to turn the data into a recommendation: "What should we do differently next week because of what we learned this week?" Not simply report numbers.

Enterprise GTM & Market Activation

Partner closely with our GTM team around a concentrated universe of strategic financial institutions.

This may include:

  • account-specific content;
  • sales enablement;
  • conference and executive-event support;
  • target-account amplification;
  • market and competitive intelligence;
  • retargeting or highly targeted ABM experiments;
  • helping turn market signals into useful account intelligence.

You will support the enterprise account motion, but you are not being hired to become an SDR or own outbound sales sequencing.

AI-Native Marketing Operations

We are explicitly looking for someone who has redesigned the way they work because of AI. This is more than being a frequent ChatGPT user.

You should naturally ask:

  • Can this workflow be automated?
  • Why are we still doing this manually?
  • Can I prototype this myself?
  • Can AI reduce this from hours to minutes without lowering quality?
  • Is there a better tool now than the one I used six months ago?
  • Which parts require human judgment and which should machines handle?
  • How do I turn this one-off task into a repeatable system?

You should be comfortable applying AI across areas such as:

  • research;
  • content development;
  • website creation and iteration;
  • SEO/AEO/GEO analysis;
  • competitive intelligence;
  • analytics;
  • reporting;
  • automation;
  • asset repurposing;
  • workflow design;
  • market research.

The standard is not to use AI everywhere. The standard is: Use judgment and modern technology to produce materially better work, materially faster.

Experimentation

Test new channels, tools and workflows where there is a clear strategic hypothesis.

That may include:

  • new AI-discoverability platforms;
  • targeted LinkedIn amplification;
  • retargeting;
  • selective paid search;
  • automation;
  • new content formats;
  • new distribution channels;
  • new AI-native marketing workflows.

We do not assume a marketing tactic deserves budget simply because other companies use it. Test quickly. Measure honestly. Scale what works. Stop what doesn't.

What Success Looks Like

Over your first 12 months, we expect you to have built a system where:

  • Monstro has a clear, authoritative and technically sound digital presence;
  • our Financial Intelligence category and broader point of view are consistently represented across the market;
  • Monstro increasingly appears for the questions our buyers and industry influencers actually ask;
  • traditional and AI search systems understand and describe Monstro accurately;
  • executive and SME insight is consistently converted into high-quality market content;
  • credible third parties increasingly reference Monstro and its ideas;
  • marketing activity measurably reinforces strategic enterprise accounts;
  • HubSpot, analytics and reporting provide clear visibility into what is working;
  • the marketing function operates as a repeatable system rather than a collection of one-off projects;
  • AI and automation allow one exceptional operator to accomplish significantly more than a traditional marketing role historically could.

We do not define success simply as more traffic, more content, more leads or more activity.

What We're Looking For

We care substantially more about how you think and operate today than how long you have been doing marketing. You may have three years of experience or ten. What matters is whether you have built exceptional things, learn unusually quickly and continuously update how you work as technology changes.

You should have:

  • a track record of hands-on B2B marketing execution;
  • experience in an early-stage, entrepreneurial or similarly high-ownership environment;
  • exceptional learning velocity;
  • an AI-native operating mindset and specific examples of workflows you have materially redesigned using modern AI tools;
  • strong understanding of modern organic discoverability, including SEO and emerging AI-search behavior;
  • excellent editorial judgment and ability to turn complex executive or technical ideas into compelling market-facing content;
  • strong HubSpot and marketing-operations fluency;
  • analytical instincts and comfort establishing baselines, defining KPIs and changing direction based on evidence;
  • comfort owning and editing a website/CMS and working with technical teams where necessary;
  • strong enterprise brand judgment;
  • the ability to operate effectively with senior executives;
  • the instinct to personally build rather than immediately create dependencies on other teams or agencies.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Experience in fintech, financial services or another regulated industry;
  • experience marketing complex enterprise software to senior executives;
  • hands-on AEO/GEO or AI-search visibility experience;
  • technical SEO fluency;
  • executive thought-leadership experience;
  • earned-media or digital-authority experience;
  • ABM / highly targeted paid-media experience;
  • demonstrated use of modern AI tools to dramatically improve speed, quality or leverage.

Form CC-305
Page 1 of 1
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
