  • Making sure key risk indicators are well-defined and understood in a timely manner, incidents are managed, MI and reporting packs are created, and risk & control assessments are completed.
  • Driving awareness of all of the governance related initiatives (issues, incidents & actions) and regulatory or audit deadlines to make sure we don’t miss anything
  • Partnering with teams to help develop new products, processes, controls and features by embedding good regulatory compliance and risk practices
  • Leading risk assessments (RCSA) in the 1st line and drives actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.
  • Providing challenge and guidance to ensure appropriate remedial actions are in place where deficiencies (Issues) are identified.
  • Escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency and creating a positive risk culture

🤩We’d love to hear from you if …

  • You are an experienced risk professional with 1st line risk experience within a UK bank, financial services company,  or fintech
  • You have Technology risk OR Financial Crime risk experience and a deep understanding of Technology or Financial Crime controls.
