⭐ The role
As the Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead, you will be the driving force behind the strategic direction and successful implementation of Monzo’s Anaplan platform. You will build and lead a small, high-impact team, championing Anaplan best practices and delivering a world-class financial planning capability across Finance, Customer Operations and People teams.

- Owning the Anaplan Platform: Define the long-term vision and strategy for Anaplan at Monzo, ensuring its architecture and governance align with our business goals.
- Leading a Team: Build, mentor, and manage a small team of Anaplan experts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Driving Strategic Projects: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex Anaplan projects, from gathering business requirements to implementation and user training.
- Establishing Best Practices: Act as the Anaplan authority within Monzo, establishing and enforcing CoE standards for model building, data governance, and security.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders: Partner with finance leadership, business partners, and technical teams to identify new opportunities to leverage Anaplan and solve critical business problems.
🤩We’d love to hear from you if you have…
- Deep, hands-on experience in designing and building enterprise-scale Anaplan models. Anaplan Certified Solution Architect is highly desirable.
- Proven experience leading a team or major projects, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- The ability to think beyond individual models to create a cohesive, scalable, and secure Anaplan ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ideally within the banking or fintech industry.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Banking or financial services experience is a plus, but not required.

📍This role is based in our London office, with a hybrid working environment with flexible working from home arrangements and some in-person attendance. We're open to distributed working within the UK (with the expectation of occasional work from our London office for key meetings).
