About the Role
We’re hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. This is a W2, in-person role providing psychiatric care to patients aged 11 and up.
As a MOOD provider, you’ll treat a range of conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. You’ll also play a key role in supporting disability assessments and evaluations for patients seeking mental health documentation to aid in disability claims and accommodations.
This position is ideal for a clinician seeking meaningful, flexible, and supported psychiatric practice in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do

Provide telehealth and in-person psychiatric care to adolescents (11+) and adults

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring safety, efficacy, and patient understanding

Complete mental health disability assessments and evaluations, documenting findings with clinical accuracy and empathy to support patients’ needs

Maintain timely, complete clinical documentation in accordance with state and practice standards

Participate in case consultations and peer collaboration to ensure quality and consistency of care

Build strong therapeutic rapport and foster trust with patients from diverse backgrounds

Qualifications
-
Active California PMHNP license and furnishing number
-
Active or pending California DEA license
-
2+ years of experience treating adolescents (ages 11–17) and adults
-
Experience diagnosing and treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder

Experience or interest in conducting disability assessments and mental health evaluations preferred

Proficiency with EHR and telehealth platforms

Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required

Schedule: Monday to Friday availability preferred; some weekend availability a plus
