Lead of Associate Clinician Program
About Mood Health
Mood Health is changing how people access mental health care. We believe care should be personal, human, and accessible—and that every patient deserves a provider who truly fits their needs. That’s why we carefully match each client with the right clinician.
Our mission is simple and powerful: empower people to heal, grow, and thrive. We know mental health is just as essential as physical health, and authentic human connection drives everything we do. Through video visits, our expert clinicians deliver therapy and medication management from the comfort of home.
Role Summary
As the Head of the Associate Clinician Program, you will own the full lifecycle of associate therapists at Mood Health—from onboarding and supervision to performance, development, compliance, and clinical quality.

- Fully compliant with regulatory and payer requirements
- Supported, developed, and retained
- Integrated into a scalable, high-performing clinical system
You will lead and evolve a best-in-class program that balances clinical excellence, operational rigor, and human-centered support, while partnering closely with Clinical Leadership, Operations, and Recruiting.

- Define what “great” looks like for associate performance, experience, and progression
- Build scalable systems to support growth across supervisors, and care models
- Establish KPIs (quality, compliance, retention, patient outcomes) and continuously improve against them
Clinical Quality, Safety & Oversight
- Set and enforce clinical quality standards across all associate-delivered care
- Oversee high-risk and complex cases, ensuring appropriate escalation pathways
- Partner with Clinical Leadership on risk management, incident review, and quality improvement
- Ensure consistency in clinical decision-making, documentation, and patient care standards
Supervision Model & Excellence

- Ensure supervision meets all BBS and state regulatory requirements while also driving clinical growth
- Build calibration systems so supervision is consistent, rigorous, and aligned across supervisors
- Step in for coverage, escalation, or supervisor support when needed
Supervisor Leadership & Development
- Interview, train, and develop a strong bench of supervisors
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management for supervisors
