💻 Sr. e-commerce Business Analyst – Advanced

About Your Role

As a Senior e-commerce Business Analyst, you will play a key role in evaluating business processes, gathering requirements, and documenting workflows for e-commerce and retail environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, IT, architects, and project managers) to ensure business needs are met through scalable and efficient solutions. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, providing insights to stakeholders, and driving optimization strategies.

What We Are Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

• Strong background in retail and/or e-commerce (highly recommended).

• Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

• Advanced technical and analytical skills, with strong conceptual thinking.

• Experience creating workflow charts, diagrams, user stories, reports, and specifications.

• Strong stakeholder management: able to collect requirements across multiple teams.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT), process optimization, and requirements analysis.

• Proven ability to work across multiple simultaneous projects.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.

• Document processes by working closely with architects and IT.

• Facilitate meetings, presentations, and communication updates with stakeholders.

• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment.

• Develop workflow charts, diagrams, and specifications for system capabilities.

• Support project managers with project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables.

• Track and manage project milestones, dependencies, and risks.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless project execution.

• Stay up to date on IT and process advancements relevant to e-commerce.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfortable switching between multiple projects.
