Summary
We are looking for a Senior Out-of-Home Media Buyer to join our Marketing team! Successful candidates will analyze and interpret market analytics to determine optimal OOH medium for placement and marketing campaigns. Candidates located in the South, Southeast, Mid-West, or California are preferred due to travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret market analytics to determine optimal OOH medium for placement and marketing campaigns
- Negotiate and procure the desired advertising space and media slots by market and partnership, the buyer should be highly persuasive and secure advertising spaces that ensure the maximum reach of campaigns with consistent pricing
- Conduct market research, analyze demographics, media usage, traffic patterns, client attributes to define the target audience and campaign requirements
- Develop advertising strategies and campaigns with marketing teams to most proactively reach the desired audience, at the most competitive CPM level
- Manage and prepare budgets and monitor campaign costs, ROI and CPM metrics, and identify new opportunities for growth
- Visit designated markets to preview selected assets and monitor competitor's impact, cultivate and maintain strong and professional relationships with all media partners and executives
Production and Posting Requirements
- Collaborate with Design and Marketing to plan for campaign messaging and asset delivery
- Prepare Posting Instructions for Account Executives and submit designs for posting
- Submit and approve proofs for Printers for all materials in the campaign, review each proof for accuracy of office, disclaimers, size, shipping and delivery
Internal Reporting and Share Data
- Prepare analysis of proposed campaign with Google Sheets in RFP format
- Provide internal reporting, demographic analysis, Prime Lingo and Kantar research for presentation of campaign to Finance
- Validate plan with TRP, Reach and Frequency and CPM
- Negotiate competitive rates and terms consistent with Morgan & Morgan standard programs
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience Media Buying, Planning Research and Strategy
- 7+ years experience in the OOH Industry in either sales, marketing or buying/planning
- Eagerness to engage with vendors and advertising outlets to develop partnerships
- Ability to function with minimal guidance and tight deadlines
- Minimum four year college degree and 12+ years of work experience
- High level of computer technical skills including Slack, Monday.com, Google Drive, Drop Box and One Drive
- Understanding of Geopath insight suite and explorer module for analyzing OOH campaigns
Nice To Have
- Knowledge of OOH terminology and ability to update program details on Google Sheets
- Familiarity with third party research reports i.e., Kantar, Scarborough, Nielsen
- Geopath certified and trained for data reporting
- Strong written and verbal skills
- High degree of negotiating and analytical skills
