Build Your Career While Making a Difference

At Morgan & Morgan, we fight For The People — and that includes employees whose rights have been violated by their employers. Our growing Employment Law department has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, driven Paralegal to join a fast-moving team in our Tampa office. You will work alongside eight energetic attorneys who are passionate about holding employers accountable and advocating for employees facing workplace discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour violations, wrongful termination, and other employment-related harms.

This is more than a support role. It is a chance to expand your litigation skills, gain meaningful federal-court experience, take ownership of critical casework, and contribute directly to cases that help level the playing field for workers.

Morgan & Morgan is a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ firm with more than 6,000 employees united by one mission: For The People. Every member of our team plays an important role in the fight against powerful corporations, insurance companies, and other entities that put profits before people.

Please note: This is a fully in-office position in Tampa, Monday through Friday. This role is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.

What You’ll Do

As an Employment Law Paralegal, you will be an essential member of the litigation team, supporting attorneys and clients through every stage of the case. Responsibilities include:

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, motions, affidavits, legal memoranda, summonses, and appellate filings.
  • Prepare, organize, and e-file documents in federal and state courts.
  • Support matters before administrative agencies, including the EEOC.
  • Draft and coordinate discovery, including interrogatories, requests, responses, and document productions.
  • Organize case files, exhibits, evidence, briefs, appendices, deposition materials, and hearing binders.
  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, and related litigation deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients to provide case-status updates and obtain records and documents needed for discovery.
  • Gather and analyze relevant information from a variety of sources.
  • Serve as a key liaison among attorneys, clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, courts, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help keep a growing Employment Law practice organized, responsive, and prepared to deliver exceptional advocacy for our clients.

What You Bring

We are looking for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and is ready to grow with a high-performing employment litigation team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in legal services under the supervision of an attorney, preferably in a law-firm setting.
  • General litigation experience, with a strong preference for federal-court experience.
  • Working knowledge of pleadings, motion practice, discovery, evidence, litigation documents, court rules, and filing procedures.
  • Experience with electronic filing in federal and state courts.
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An associate degree, paralegal certificate, completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program, or equivalent relevant experience.
