Referral Manager

Miami, Florida, United States

At Morgan & Morgan, the work we do matters. For millions of Americans, we’re their last line of defense against insurance companies, large corporations or defective goods. From attorneys in all 50 states, to client support staff, creative marketing to operations teams, every member of our firm has a key role to play in the winning fight for consumer rights. Our over 6,000 employees are all united by one mission: For the People.

Referral Manager – South Florida

A Strategic Opportunity for an Established Attorney

You’ve built your career in the practice of law. Now put your experience, reputation, and relationships to work on the business side of the profession, with the nation’s largest personal injury firm behind you, and be rewarded for every result you deliver.

As a Referral Manager, you’ll represent Morgan & Morgan in the South Florida legal community, meeting with law firms in person, strengthening existing relationships, and showing fellow attorneys how a partnership with our firm can benefit them and their clients. Your credibility as a practicing lawyer is your greatest asset in this role. You understand the pressures attorneys face, the cases that fall outside a firm’s sweet spot, and the importance of getting a referred client into the right hands. You’ll bring that perspective to every conversation, backed by a firm that has recovered over $20 billion for clients nationwide.

Uncapped Earning Potential, Paid Monthly

This role is built for attorneys who want their income to reflect their performance. Your compensation includes a competitive base salary plus an uncapped, performance-based bonus that is paid out monthly. There is no ceiling on what you can earn, and you won’t wait for a year-end review to see the results of your work. The relationships you build and the referrals you generate translate directly into income, month after month.

For an attorney used to billable hours, fixed salaries, or delayed payouts, this is a different model: ownership of a territory and a portfolio, results you can measure, and rewards that scale with your success.

  • Proactively prospect and meet with law firms daily, in person, to develop new referral relationships
  • Serve as a peer-level resource, educating partners on Morgan & Morgan’s services, practice areas, and referral opportunities

  • Oversee referred matters to ensure they are handled efficiently and with care, protecting the trust of your referral partners
  • Track and report key business development metrics
  • Attend sales meetings, internal training sessions, and firm events
  • Stay current on Morgan & Morgan’s practice areas, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Consistently meet and exceed lead generation and financial goals

Qualifications

  • Active attorney license in good standing (Florida Bar membership preferred; any state considered)
  • Prior business development, client development, or rainmaking experience a plus
  • Established relationships with personal injury firms and attorneys in South Florida, a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the polish and presence to engage senior attorneys and firm leadership
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and skilled at managing time and priorities
  • Comfortable using data and metrics to track and drive performance

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary
