We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the daily financial operations of our organization. This role is responsible for managing accounting processes, income audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, audits, compliance, and overall financial reporting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial systems.
The Finance Manager plays both a strategic and hands-on role, partnering with leadership to provide financial insights that inform business decisions while maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance. This position is essential to safeguarding the company’s financial health, improving operational efficiency, and supporting sustainable growth.
COMPENSATION:
The salary wage for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.
CLASSIFICATION:
This is an exempt, salaried position. In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you are not eligible for overtime pay. Your compensation is intended to cover all hours required to fulfill the responsibilities of your role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing daily financial operations and supporting long-term business success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, income audit and general ledger processes.
- Review and approve account reconciliations, including bank statements, assets, liabilities, and credit accounts.
- Coordinate and review monthly and quarterly financial statements to ensure accuracy and proper reporting.
- Assist the Director of Finance with internal audits and compliance reporting.
- Support the Director of Finance to prepare financial reports, tax filings, and accruals in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage special projects and support cross-functional teams with financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
- Support Director of Finance with month end close.
- Maintain files of all contracts, insurance policies, tax reports, expenses, payroll, etc.
- Performing numerical analysis of data and formulating conclusions and/or solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting in a hospitality environment.
- Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- High level understanding of accounting procedures, principles, and US GAAP.
- Strong system experience, ideally implementation. (Netsuite ERP, Toast, Book4Time, ADP Work Force Now, etc)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be deadline focused, organized and exhibit problem-solving skills.
