We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Esthetician to join our Bedrock Spa team. This role is ideal for a practitioner passionate about skincare, holistic wellness, and delivering exceptional, personalized treatments in a luxury environment.
COMPENSATION AND CLASSIFICATION:
The hourly wage for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, with the eligibility for commission of 25% on all treatment sessions conducted.
This is a non-exempt, hourly position. In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you are eligible for overtime pay at one and a half times your regular rate for all hours worked over 40 in a single workweek.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide customized facial and skincare treatments tailored to the individual needs and goals of Moss members and guests.
- Offer a range of esthetic services including facials, advanced skin treatments, extractions, exfoliation, and waxing.
- Conduct pre-session consultations to assess client needs, preferences, and any contraindications.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and guest care to create a luxurious and restorative experience.
- Collaborate with fellow spa practitioners, massage therapists, and wellness professionals to deliver integrated wellness programming.
- Ensure treatment spaces are pristine, well-stocked, and aligned with the aesthetic standards of Moss and Bedrock.
- Educate members on the benefits of esthetic treatments, skincare regimens, and recommended follow-up care.
- Uphold NYS licensing regulations, spa safety standards, and wellness best practices at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and team meetings to maintain excellence and alignment with Moss values.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current New York State Esthetics License required.
- 3+ years of experience in a luxury spa, wellness, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Expertise in facial treatments, advanced skincare, and product knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with members and guests.
- Commitment to delivering elevated, personalized service in a fast-paced, member-centered environment.
- Warm, professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- CPR/AED certification preferred.
