We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager of Bedrock to support the daily operations and programming of our wellness and fitness offerings at Bedrock Athletics & Aquatics and Spa. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a passion for wellness, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, member-centered environment.
COMPENSATION:
The salary wage for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
CLASSIFICATION:
This is an exempt, salaried position. In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you are not eligible for overtime pay. Your compensation is intended to cover all hours required to fulfill the responsibilities of your role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Head of Fitness and Director of Physical Culture in managing all fitness, spa and wellness partnership operations.
- Support both development and ongoing day-to-day operations of Bedrock.
- Coordinate class schedules, manage bookings, and assist in staffing instructors and practitioners.
- Collaborate on the management of the Bedrock dedicated Membership Associates located at Reception desks.
- Collaborate with Membership Associates at reception to ensure seamless check-in and member flow.
- Lead oversight of Spa Attendant team, including scheduling and maintaining operational standards.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetics in all fitness and wellness spaces.
- Serve as a point of contact for members and guests to ensure an elevated and personalized experience.
- Manage creation of SOP with all tech integration (Book4Time and PeopleVine)
- Assist with the planning and execution of wellness and fitness events, member private events, and partnership activations.
- Track inventory and supplies related to Bedrock Aquatics, Spa and Athletics programs and retail space.
- Provide administrative support, including reporting, supply inventory ordering, recreational and personal training space optimization.
- Uphold safety standards and wellness best practices throughout the facility.
- Participate in periodic performance check-ins and team meetings.
- Represent the Bedrock brand with professionalism, discretion, and alignment to our values
- Ideal for wellness and operation professionals looking to build within a premium wellness facility.
- Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including Finance, Communications, Design, Member Experience, Intelligent Leisure, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5+ years of experience in wellness, spa, hospitality, or fitness operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
- Warm, professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal communication.
- Proactive problem-solving skills in client and staff relations.
- Passion for wellness, holistic health, and lifestyle programming.
- CPR/AED certification preferred.
- Flexible schedule including availability on weekends and some evenings. You will take on the role of the Manager on Duty when the Director of Physical Culture and Fitness Manager are not on-site.
- Experience with booking or scheduling software (Book4time preferred).
