As the Senior Workplace Experience and Facilities Manager, you will oversee the management of Motional’s real estate and facilities, both company-owned and leased properties. This role involves coordinating vendors, managing third parties, and maintaining the properties database along with related documents​. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Operations and collaborates closely with key personnel across various divisions as needed.

This position will require onsite capability in our Las Vegas site. The Motional Las Vegas office is located less than 10 miles from the Las Vegas strip at 730 E Pilot Road. The city’s grid system of roads and being one of America’s “smart cities” allows for extensive research and development testing.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Property and Facilities Management:
    • Assist with lease negotiations, proposals, documents, amendments, and extensions
    • Rent tracking, payments, increases, and operating expense recoveries
    • Ensure landlord and tenant lease and maintenance obligations are met
    • Support improvements (furniture, fixtures, equipment, construction)
    • Address lease matters with the local operations team
    • Maintain relationships with landlords to ensure obligations are met
    • Collaborate with the local operations team on location requirements
    • Resolve maintenance, regulatory, and tax matters
    • Support improvements (furniture, fixtures, equipment, construction)
    • Manage company-leased offices and properties across various states
    • Manage subleased property and tenant relationships
    • Manage Operational and Capital Expenditures budget
  • Vendor Management:
    • Setup new vendors, prepare and process agreements and manage deliverables
    • ​In partnership with finance manage payments, and other vendor-related documents
  • Property Transactions:
    • Develop and manage budgets for workplace experience initiatives, ensuring cost-efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
    • Research and identify properties​, and gather owner information
    • Assist with proposals, agreements, and required transaction documents
    • Maintain version control and track critical dates
    • Assist with property evaluation
    • Manage title and escrow processes, including document submission and compliance

What we're looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry certifications
  • Five years of experience in facilities/property management with 2+ years managing the commercial real estate leasing  & selection process
  • Proficient in Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Gmail, Calendar, Google+) and Advanced MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Financial acumen and adept at budget management 
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovative workplace solutions.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Previous experience working with internal accounting personnel
  • Familiarity with ​Oracle or similar accounting systems is a plus
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Working Conditions: 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to convey and detect communication
  • The employee is occasionally required to remain stationary at times for up to 50% of working time; operate power tools, move in designated working areas; & operate and use office equipment.
  • The employee must occasionally move up to 50 pounds.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors including but not limited to specific skills, experience and expertise, role location, certifications, licenses, and business needs. The estimated compensation range listed in this job posting reflects base salary only. This role may include additional forms of compensation such as a bonus or company equity. Salary Range

$104,000 - $139,200 USD
