Senior Systems Integration Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Integration Test Engineer to lead system level testing and validation within our Test Strategy team. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and reliable integration and performance of autonomous vehicle systems by designing comprehensive test strategies. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in system-level testing, an understanding of system architecture, and expertise in managing subsystem interactions to safeguard overall system integrity amid changes.
**This role is based in our Las Vegas office and is a Hybrid role (coming into the office 2-3 times a week). **
What you will be doing:
- Design and execute system-level test strategies to validate autonomous vehicle performance under both nominal and off-nominal conditions.
- Conduct integration and validation testing of features and subsystems, along with regression and system-level verification, to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
- Review system architecture and CAN channel connectivity to verify seamless subsystem integration and communication.
- Analyze post testing data to identify anomalies and support root cause analysis for system failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop best practices for integration processes and system validation.
- Prepare and present readiness reviews to senior leadership to secure milestone approvals and ensure safe system deployment.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
- 5+ years of experience in system integration or system-level testing and validation of complex safety critical systems including requirement analysis, test plan development, execution and reporting.
- Understanding of Systems Engineering, V&V activities and V model.
- Experience in data analysis and generating dashboards using tools like MATLAB, Python and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Bonus Points (not required):
- Experience with autonomous vehicle or ADAS testing and validation.
- Experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.
- Experience in CAN bus communication and networking using tools such as Vector CANoe, dSPACE, or NI hardware.
- Experience using issue tracking and configuration management tools (E.g: Atlassian Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Git.)
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to convey and detect communication. The employee is occasionally required to remain stationary at times for up to 50% of working time, move in designated working areas; & operate and use office equipment. The employee may occasionally move up to 50 pounds. You will be responsible for domestic traveling as per the requirements of the business (less than 1 week per quarter).

Salary Range
$115,500 - $174,500 USD
