Remote Position - Must Reside in CT, NY, NJ, or MA 

About the Position:

The Revenue Cycle Analyst plays a vital role in optimizing Mountainside’s revenue cycle operations by managing AR worklists, conducting audits, improving billing workflows, and supporting cross-functional financial initiatives. This position supports our financial goals through accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Your Role:

  • Lead initiatives to improve revenue cycle processes for optimal revenue capture and compliance.
  • Assign and oversee AR worklists to support billing accuracy and productivity.
  • Manage claims-related mail and ensure timely resolution of payer correspondence.
  • Conduct billing and AR audits to identify discrepancies and propose corrective action.
  • Monitor the billing department email inbox and ensure timely follow-up on all inquiries.
  • Address client billing concerns via phone and email to support a positive client experience.
  • Analyze data trends and performance metrics to inform process improvements.
  • Collaborate with finance, billing, coding, and clinical teams to drive revenue cycle improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge of current billing regulations and implement necessary changes.
  • Provide support and training to team members on revenue cycle procedures.
  • Participate in special projects or tasks assigned by leadership.
  • Adhere to all Mountainside policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.

  • Attend internal training to remain up-to-date on company standards and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare billing or revenue cycle management preferred.
  • Proficiency in billing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of insurance billing regulations and payer guidelines preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to addiction and mental health treatment environments.

Compensation:

The base rate of pay for this position is $26.00 to $30.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
