Role Overview: As a Web Experience Developer at Moxxi, you’ll play a key role in the development, enhancement and optimization of Moxxi’s consumer-facing digital web experiences. Moxxi owns and operates ad-supported promotional consumer properties focused on driving value for consumers, advertisers, and media partners. Your role will focus on the development of front-end components (e.g., registration pages, site themes, animations, interactive elements) and broad website development initiatives that support the business. Working closely with design, product, and operations teams, you’ll bring ideas to life through technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and design intuition. What you’ll do:

  1. Front-End Development: Develop and maintain front-end experiences for desktop and mobile web, including site themes, registration pages, animations, and interactive elements.
  2. CMS Management: Build, configure, and enhance websites using proprietary and third-party CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or Contentful). Work with broader development team to influence improvements in proprietary CMS to drive efficiency and enhanced capabilities.
  3. Collaborative Design Execution: Partner with design team to bring concepts to life and handle web design tasks as needed.
  4. Interactive Features: Help bring our websites to life with animations, interactive experiences, and more. Bring ideas to the table to enhance our web experiences.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and operations teams to execute consumer-facing projects, websites, and advertising initiatives.
  6. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve bugs, and ensure high performance and reliability across digital experiences.
  7. Optimization-minded: Play a critical part in the website optimization experience, bringing ideas to the table to drive conversion optimization, considering both anecdotes and results from experimentation.
  8. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements in front-end development and CMS usage to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in front-end web development, with a focus on CMS platforms and consumer-facing digital experiences.
  • Expert proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with third-party CMS platforms and ability to build out basic content-focused websites.
  • Basic web design skills, comfortably able to transfer designs to code in a pixel-perfect manor.
  • Prior experience as a designer being a significant plus.
  • Experience building animations and front-end interactive features.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding how to implement programmatic advertising on web (e.g., Google Adsense, header bidding) a plus.

Salary Range

$110,000 - $150,000 USD
