SMS Growth Specialist, Consumer Experience

New York, New York

Who We Are

At Moxxi, we’re redefining performance marketing with cutting-edge technology and a relentless focus on results. As a profitable, bootstrapped start-up, we are led by a team of industry veterans in performance marketing, ad tech, and digital publishing. Together, we’re building the premier platform to incubate, scale, and optimize digitally born businesses, setting new standards for data-driven success.

Our entrepreneurial team brings proven experience from both global corporations and fast-growing startups. We’re passionate about delivering scalable, profitable outcomes for our partners through advanced profiling, targeting, and continuous optimization. Joining Moxxi means becoming part of a growing start-up in the heart of NYC, where you’ll have the opportunity to accelerate your career, expand your skill set, and shape the future of performance marketing.

Role Overview:

SMS is one of Moxxi’s fastest-growing owned media channels, reaching millions of consumers every week. As our SMS Growth Specialist, you’ll own the consumer-facing side of the channel: the web properties users land on when they click our messages, the pages they navigate, and the monetization experiences where engagement becomes revenue.

As an SMS Growth Specialist, your focus is to make every SMS click worth more. You’ll launch new consumer web properties from the ground up - brand, content, and conversion flows - and then continuously optimize them for yield through testing, analytics, and fast iteration. Message volume is growing quickly; your job is to make sure revenue grows faster. You’ll report directly to the head of the SMS channel, with full ownership of your metrics and a direct line of sight from your work to the P&L.

Key Responsibilities:

Conversion & Yield Optimization

  • Own the post-click consumer journey: landing pages, content layouts, offer placement, and monetization mix with revenue per click as your core metric.
  • Run a continuous experimentation program: page layouts, offer sequencing, content angles, and design variants, each measured against conversion and yield.
  • Analyze funnel performance daily to find where users drop off and where value is being left on the table — then ship the fix.
  • Collaborate with internal demand and yield teams to align what’s shown on-page with what’s converting, so the best offers get the best placement.
  • Balance monetization with user trust, building experiences consumers genuinely engage with, protecting long-term channel health.

Web Property Development

  • Launch new consumer web properties end to end — brand identity, site structure, content, and signup/opt-in flows — using modern no-code and AI-assisted builders.
  • Maintain quality and consistency across a growing portfolio of consumer brands, each presenting a polished, service-oriented experience.
  • Ship fast: new properties and page variants go live in days, and every launch becomes a new surface to optimize.
  • Build within regulatory and platform guardrails, ensuring every property meets industry compliance and content standards for consumer messaging.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3-5+ years in performance marketing, affiliate, or an SMS/lifecycle-adjacent space — you’ve owned a conversion or revenue metric and demonstrably moved it.
  • Command of the conversion optimization toolkit: landing page testing, offer sequencing, layout and placement strategy, and audience segmentation.
  • A strong analytical core — you pull your own data, find the patterns, and prioritize experiments by expected impact rather than intuition alone.
  • Hands-on ability to build and ship web experiences with no-code / AI-assisted tools — you don’t wait on a dev queue.
  • Comfort operating within compliance frameworks for consumer marketing — or the discipline to master them quickly.
  • Start-up scrappiness: you’re proactive, resourceful, and bias toward action.

Moxxi Values & Competencies

  • Self-Starter – You take initiative and solve problems before they become problems.
  • Curious & Analytical – You ask why, dig deep into data, and experiment to learn what works.
  • Efficiency-Oriented – Fast, focused, and action-driven.
  • Ownership-Focused – You treat the consumer journey like your own P&L.
  • Organized Multitasker – You thrive in fast-paced, high-velocity environments.
  • Strategic Communicator – You translate performance into insight and insight into action.

Salary Range

$70,000 - $100,000 USD

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
