Why Mozilla?

Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we’re shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security and more. And we’re doing this while never losing our focus on our core mission – to make the internet better for people.

The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. This means we aren’t beholden to any shareholders — only to our mission. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms.

About this team and role:

Mozilla is seeking a Marketing Specialist with a passion for growth marketing and digital media optimization to join our team focused on Firefox browser adoption! This role is a great fit for someone who thrives on turning performance data into action, can juggle multiple media campaigns, and enjoys working collaboratively to drive user acquisition for both desktop and mobile platforms.

This individual will be our in-house champion for maximizing the performance of paid media campaigns. While our agency partners handle platform execution, you'll serve as the internal expert on performance metrics, optimization opportunities, and alignment with growth objectives. You’ll partner with creative, analytics and product teams to ensure we are continuously improving our strategy, execution, and outcomes.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical thinking, a curious mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities across a dynamic marketing environment.

What you'll do:
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of global media campaigns supporting the Firefox browser on desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with our media agency to ensure campaigns are optimized for user acquisition and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) based on Mozilla’s growth goals.
  • Serve as the internal owner of media reporting — analyze data from multiple platforms to create clear and actionable insights.
  • Coordinate with Mozilla’s creative and content teams to ensure compelling creative assets are being tested, refreshed and deployed in-market.
  • Help prioritize and shape creative testing agendas based on campaign performance and user insights.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reporting decks that synthesize findings and highlight performance trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, product marketing and other collaborators to ensure alignment between acquisition efforts and broader product goals.
  • Use your knowledge of digital marketing trends and competitive benchmarks to help Mozilla succeed with its mission-driven, privacy-preserving marketing approach.
What you’ll bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on paid media and/or performance marketing.
  • Experience managing media campaigns in partnership with agencies or as part of an in-house team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in compiling and interpreting data from Google Analytics and advertising platforms.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks across multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • A track record of using creative testing and data insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Ability to write clear performance summaries, present findings to stakeholders, and contribute to collaborative decision-making.
Bonus Points for
  • Familiarity with software user acquisition strategies.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a user-first mindset.
What you’ll get:
  • Generous performance-based bonus plans to all eligible employees - we share in our success as one team
  • Rich medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting (regardless of whether you contribute)
  • Quarterly all-company wellness days where everyone takes a pause together
  • Country specific holidays plus a day off for your birthday
  • One-time home office stipend
  • Annual professional development budget
  • Quarterly well-being stipend
  • Considerable paid parental leave
  • Employee referral bonus program
