Role Overview

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for driving Mozilla.ai’s early business development, partner onboarding, and solution delivery during our pre-GTM and early GTM phases. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of business development, partnerships, and solution engineering.

Your focus will be to:

• Build and grow our pipeline of design partners and strategic customers
• Lead onboarding and implementation of early partners
• Translate partner needs into scoped solutions using our platform
• Feed those insights back into product and GTM strategy

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both customer-facing conversations and hands-on problem solving, and who can bridge messy user pain points into clear solutions and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnerships

• Identify, engage, and qualify prospective partners and early customers.
• Own discovery conversations, uncovering domain challenges and workflows.
• Build relationships with champions who can drive adoption inside their organizations.

Partner Onboarding & Implementation

• Lead onboarding of new partners and ensure smooth rollout of pilots.
• Scope, design, and coordinate implementation of initial use cases.
• Act as the first point of contact for partners, ensuring satisfaction and value.

Translate Field Insights into Product & GTM

• Work closely with Product Managers to translate partner feedback into platform improvements.
• Contribute to GTM messaging and positioning based on live partner use cases.
• Document best practices and create reusable playbooks for repeatability.

Support Strategic Growth

• Collaborate with Head of Product to prioritize verticals and refine GTM approach.
• Help define criteria for scaling from bespoke pilots into repeatable solutions.
• Support comms and case studies to highlight successful partner outcomes.

Who You Are

• Background in business development, partnerships, technical pre-sales, or solutions consulting.
• Experience in AI/ML, SaaS platforms, or open-source ecosystems.
• Skilled at customer-facing conversations, with the ability to earn trust and uncover real needs.
• Strong at translating business problems into scoped technical solutions.
• Confident coordinating both external stakeholders and internal product/engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational and documentation skills.
• Willing and able to undertake international travel.
