
Senior Business Continuity Analyst
As Marqeta’s Senior Business Continuity Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, maintenance and testing of Marqeta’s business continuity program. The Senior Business Continuity Analyst will support all program activities necessary to enable Marqeta to manage a business continuity event / crisis event as well as maintain and / or rapidly recover continuity of business. This role will report directly to the Business Continuity and Crisis Management Manager.

The Impact You’ll Make
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance and testing of Marqeta’s business continuity program:
- While supporting enterprise resilience and cyber resilience, design, and conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical business services and conduct mapping to ultimately improve resiliency
- The tabletop / scenario testing of the Business Continuity plans and report writing, giving recommendations for improvement
- Conduct Business Continuity training to help embed Business Continuity into the culture
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as emergency services, vendors, and other stakeholders critical to business continuity and crisis management
- Ongoing business continuity and crisis management vendor management that ensures up-to-date retainers and contracts
- Review and update business continuity plans regularly to reflect changing organisational needs and external environments
- Evaluate the presence and sustainability of alternate processing capabilities for critical business services in the event the primary capability goes down or is quarantined
- Document business process mapping (critical path documentation) for Marqeta’s most critical business processes (e.g. mapping infrastructure, data centre, applications, third parties, etc. Involved in processing)
- Support the response to actual disruptions, including activation of the business continuity plan, crisis communication and coordination of recovery efforts

Who You Are
- 3+ years experience in business continuity planning and analysis, concepts and methodology.
- Proven business continuity in the financial services /FinTech industry.
- Experience with BCI, ISO 22301, EMI, SOX, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, PCI 3DS, GDPR, and CPRA.
- Ability to support cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of business impact analysis methodologies, business continuity testing and regulatory requirements specific to the banking sector.
- Detailed knowledge of business continuity and associated regulatory requirements.
- Analytical and problem-solving prowess, with the capacity to think critically and adapt strategies to evolving circumstances.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to upholding confidentiality and data security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships across teams, influence decision-making, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Professional certifications in Business Continuity would be advantageous
- Relevant certifications (CBCP, CBCI, Certified ISO 22301 Business Continuity).

When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position, reflected in CAD, is: 91,200 - 114,000
