AML Operations Manager

Marqeta is looking for the AML Operations Manager to join us in Canada. 

We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere within Canada. We’d love for you to join us!

What we’re looking for:  

  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail and be well versed in the international laws, guidance, and best practices in anti-money laundering controls 
  • Bachelor’s degree; master's degree; or a PhD with a minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in AML operations within the financial services or FinTech industry and at least 3 years in a leadership role 
  • Thorough knowledge of AML regulations and compliance standards globally
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficiency in utilizing AML monitoring and sanctions screening software, data analysis tools, and reporting systems 
  • Strong strategic thinking and risk management abilities 
  • Proven track record of fostering a culture of operational excellence 
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position, reflected in CAD,  is: 104,000 to 130,000.
