People Advisor - Fixed Term

What you’ll be doing

As a People Advisor, you will work alongside a team of experts in their fields. You will act as the primary contact for first level people-related queries. The role is fast paced working in an agile team environment where you will support our P&C team, RSE team and People Managers in an end-to-end HR Advisory role.

Based in our Whakatu office your role will include:

• Service delivery including support with the annual salary review process, performance reviews and engagement surveys including running reports and action planning.

• Employee Relations including managing employee relations cases end to end with support from Senior P&C team members.

• Manage employment-related documentation and data.

• Reviewing Policies & Procedures in accordance with current employment legislation.
• Support with Safety & Wellbeing related queries and assign or action them accordingly.
• Support our Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) operations team with general administration requirements, such as processing and coordinating of RSE employment, travel, and insurance documentation.

You will bring:

• Previous experience (minimum 3 years) from a similar role within a medium to large size organisation.
• You can confidently and independently manage the end-to-end HR process for high-volume work environment.
• Ability to coach and influence stakeholders and using sound judgement
• Ability to develop and manage effective relationships at all levels and locations
• Strong communication skills to influence, advise and negotiate
• Proficient in office technologies including Microsoft suite, teams, HR & H&S systems
• Previous experience in employee relations including disciplinaries and performance management
• Drivers licence with the ability to drive to our Orchards and Packhouses across Hawkes Bay
