About the Role:

As the Channel Lead, you will lead the vision, voice, and execution for MrBeast’s behind-the-scenes storytelling - capturing, shaping, and publishing the stories behind the main-channel videos and the world of Beast. You’ll be responsible for building and leading a small, hands-on team that uncovers genuine moments, and crafts them into compelling, watchable stories.

This role requires a deep YouTube brain - someone who’s lived in the platform long enough to know what works instinctively.  This is a builder role for someone who can think like a creator, lead like a producer, and operate like a strategist. If that sounds like you, read on below.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the vision, tone, and publishing cadence for the MrBeast2 - defining what stories get told, how they’re told, and why they matter.

  • Partner closely with the main-channel production leads to identify compelling arcs during shoots and post - the people, challenges, and details that make each video memorable.

  • Ensure BTS content supports the broader MrBeast ecosystem: main channel, social channels, and brand partnerships.

  • Use YouTube and social analytics to identify what formats or story types drive engagement and iterate quickly based on performance.

  • Collaborate with content leadership team to maintain a clear identity and purpose for the channel.

  • Experiment with new formats (vlog, docu-style, mini-series, personality-driven shorts) to expand how the audience experiences the MrBeast world.

  • Build and maintain organizational systems for footage management, post workflows, and publishing calendars.

  • Serve as the connective tissue between creative chaos and polished storytelling - turning spontaneous moments into clear, entertaining narratives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7–10+ years in YouTube or content production, ideally with hands-on experience as a creator or working directly with creators.

  • Proven success leading small, high-output creative teams in fast-moving, creator-driven environments.

  • Deep understanding of YouTube storytelling - how pacing, title/thumbnail, and narrative rhythm impact retention and growth.

  • A strong editorial instinct: you know when something’s authentic, funny, or emotionally real, and how to shape it into watchable form.

  • Ability to think both creatively and analytically, understanding pacing and the data that reinforces good instinct.

  • Ability to synthesize chaos into clarity - managing shifting priorities and personalities while keeping output steady.

  • Excellent communication and people-management skills, able to partner with creative leadership and advocate for your team’s needs.

  • Curiosity, humility, and high creative standards — you find meaning in the process and joy in the details.

  • Ability to work onsite in Greenville, NC (relo support provided)

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
