Social Media Strategist

Greenville, NC

About Us

Beast Industries is a multifaceted media and entertainment company founded by Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, the most watched person in the world. Renowned for revolutionizing digital content creation, Beast Industries encompasses a diverse portfolio of ventures that extend far beyond its origins on YouTube. With a mission to entertain, inspire, and create significant social impact, Beast Industries operates across various domains including digital media, philanthropy, consumer products, and innovative business initiatives. At Beast Industries, we believe in the transformative power of digital media and its potential to entertain, educate, and effect positive change. Our commitment to innovation, creativity, and philanthropy drives us to explore new frontiers, create unforgettable experiences, and build a legacy that inspires future generations.

About The Role

The Social Media Strategist is the strategic role for social media operations across Beast Industries’ CPG brands, including Feastables, MrBeast Apparel, MrBeast Labs, Lunchly, and future Beast-owned properties. This role supports the strategy that determines how each brand shows up, stays ahead of culture, and ensures the right ideas make it to production.

You’re the filter between raw creative energy and strategic execution. You work closely with the creative team to pressure-test ideas, bring trend intelligence and competitive context to the table, and drive the thoughtfulness behind every concept before it reaches the Head of Content. Your value is measured by how sharp, strategically grounded, and culturally relevant the team’s output becomes because of your influence.

The ideal candidate thinks in systems, not just posts. They bring deep platform fluency, trend forecasting discipline, competitive rigor, and strategic instinct to know when a creative concept is right for the moment, right for the brand, and right for the audience, or when it needs to be killed, redirected, or elevated. While Feastables is the highest-volume brand in the portfolio, this role requires shifting strategy across distinctly different product categories and audiences.

What You'll Do

  • Develop social media strategies for tentpole brand moments, seasonal pushes, and product launches, defining the strategic narrative, platform approach, and content mix before creative execution begins
  • Lead ongoing trend research across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, and emerging platforms, surfacing opportunities, relevant formats, sounds, and cultural moments to the creative team with context on timing and brand fit
  • Work closely with the creative team to filter, refine, and pressure-test content concepts, bringing strategic insight, audience understanding, and competitive context to ensure the strongest ideas move forward
  • Build and maintain a competitive intelligence practice: monthly audits across each brand’s category analyzing what competitors are winning attention on social, what’s falling flat, and where Beast brands have whitespace to own
  • Track how brands (gaming, fashion, entertainment) engage Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences and translate relevant tactics into Beast brand-applicable strategies
  • Pull and analyze social analytics from Emplifi and platform dashboards weekly and monthly, translating performance data into clear insights that inform creative direction, content mix, and platform prioritization
  • Write detailed MrBeast channel integration briefs including talking points, product highlights, brand expectations, and retailer callouts aligned to each brand’s comms calendar
  • Build creative decks and strategic presentations for campaign pitches, strategy updates, and cross-functional alignment
  • Collaborate with the Creator Partnerships Manager to evaluate creator-brand fit and ensure partnership activations align with brand strategy and audience targets
  • Define and refine how each Beast brand should show up on each platform, including voice, format preferences, posting cadence, and content mix, and evolve that positioning as platforms and audiences shift
  • Contribute strategic input to social copy and creative briefs, ensuring platform-specific language drives conversation and shareability rather than defaulting to marketing language
  • Maintain a reference library of high-performing content examples from competitors, creators, and adjacent categories for team-wide learning and creative team inspiration
  • Adapt and shift between brand voices, tones, and audience contexts quickly, recognizing that what works for Feastables may not work for Apparel or Lunchly, and vice versa

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media strategy, content strategy, or brand strategy for consumer-facing brands
  • Demonstrated ability to translate trend research and competitive analysis into actionable creative direction
  • Strong analytical skills with experience pulling insights from social analytics platforms (Emplifi, Sprout, or similar) and translating data into strategic recommendations
  • Proven ability to write compelling strategic briefs and campaign frameworks that give creative teams clear direction without being prescriptive
  • Deep, demonstrable fluency in internet culture, meme formats, creator ecosystems, and short-form video trends
  • Experience working across multiple brands or products

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working alongside or embedded within a creative team in a strategic advisory capacity
  • Background in or strong understanding of the MrBeast content ecosystem and creator-native video formats
  • Experience with TikTok Shop content strategy or social commerce
  • Track record of identifying trends early and shaping how a brand responds to them
  • Experience developing campaign strategies for product launches or seasonal brand moments
  • Consumer brand, apparel, entertainment, creator economy, or agency experience

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
