About the Role

Beast Industries is seeking a hands-on technology leader to own IT operations for our New York office and deliver exceptional support to our C-suite, board members, and employees.

You will be the primary technology partner for our NYC leadership team and the person accountable for keeping the office’s technology reliable, secure, and ready for business. Your responsibilities span executive devices, employee support, conference rooms, audiovisual systems, local networks, onboarding, and the technology delivery for future office expansions and relocations.

This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful ownership. You will manage systems, service delivery, vendors, and projects, working closely with our central IT, Security, Workplace, and Facilities teams. You should be equally comfortable troubleshooting a network issue, preparing a boardroom, supporting an executive, and coordinating an office technology rollout.

What You'll Own:

Executive and VIP Support

  • Serve as the primary NYC IT contact for C-suite leaders, providing responsive, discreet support for laptops, mobile devices, applications, connectivity, and collaboration tools.
  • Build trusted relationships with executives and executive assistants, anticipating technology needs around important meetings, travel, and changing schedules.
  • Prepare and maintain executive devices, accessories, loaners, and recovery options to minimize downtime.
  • Take ownership of issues from initial contact through resolution, communicating clearly and coordinating specialists when needed.
  • Exercise sound judgment when handling confidential information, sensitive conversations, and privileged access.

Board Meetings and Leadership Events

  • Own technology preparation and live support for board meetings, executive leadership meetings, and other high-priority gatherings.
  • Coordinate with executive assistants, meeting organizers, and relevant vendors on room setup, presentation needs, remote participation, and support coverage.
  • Test audio, video, displays, microphones, conferencing, and connectivity before meetings; prepare practical backup options.
  • Provide discreet troubleshooting during meetings and resolve recurring issues afterward.
  • Follow company requirements for meeting access, confidential materials, and recording.

NYC Office Technology Operations

  • Own the day-to-day reliability of NYC office technology, including wired and wireless networks, internet connectivity, conference rooms, AV systems, workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and approved configuration changes; coordinate central engineering teams and service providers through resolution.
  • Maintain conference room readiness through regular checks, preventive maintenance, clear user instructions, and timely repairs.
  • Coordinate technology dependencies for badge access and other office systems with Security, Workplace, and Facilities.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventories, spare equipment, network and room documentation, support procedures, and vendor contacts.
  • Identify reliability risks, capacity constraints, and equipment refresh needs, and recommend improvements to IT leadership.

Employee Support and Onboarding

  • Deliver approachable, effective onsite support for NYC employees and visiting colleagues across macOS, Windows, mobile devices, and business applications.
  • Coordinate onboarding, role changes, and offboarding with HR and central IT, ensuring equipment and approved access are ready when needed and recovered promptly.
  • Support Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft 365, Okta, and other approved applications within established administrative responsibilities.
  • Troubleshoot endpoint management, authentication, permissions, software, and connectivity issues while maintaining company security standards.
  • Contribute senior-level support to the broader IT team, documenting work and turning recurring problems into lasting fixes, knowledge articles, and automation opportunities.

Office Expansions, Buildouts, and Relocations

  • Lead local IT delivery for NYC office expansions and relocations, from requirements gathering through installation, testing, move-day support, and stabilization.
  • Partner with IT Engineering, Workplace, Facilities, building management, and vendors on connectivity, cabling, network equipment, conference rooms, AV, and workstation readiness.
  • Coordinate site surveys, vendor schedules, installation dependencies, equipment procurement requests, and technical acceptance testing.
  • Develop technology cutover plans, contingency arrangements, and employee communications to minimize disruption.
  • Track project milestones, costs, risks, and open issues, escalating decisions early and maintaining complete handover documentation.

What You'll Bring:

  • Five or more years of progressive experience in IT support, desktop engineering, or workplace technology, including direct support for senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ownership of an office’s technology operations or a comparable environment requiring independent judgment and broad technical responsibility.
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across macOS, Windows, mobile devices, managed endpoints, and common business applications.
  • Practical networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and structured cabling.
  • Experience supporting conference room AV and video conferencing, including preparation and live troubleshooting for important meetings.
  • Experience administering collaboration and identity platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, and Okta.
  • The ability to coordinate vendors and technical partners, manage competing priorities, and carry issues through to completion.
  • Clear communication, patience, discretion, and composure when supporting executives or resolving time-sensitive problems.
  • A proactive approach to documentation, preventive maintenance, and service improvement.
  • Comfort using approved AI tools and automation to improve troubleshooting and support workflows while protecting company information.

Additional Experience We Value:

  • Board meeting support or dedicated C-suite technology support.
  • Office openings, expansions, relocations, or conference room deployments.
  • Endpoint management tools such as Fleet, Jamf, or Intune.
  • Slack-based or AI-assisted service management, including Serval.
  • Scripting or workflow automation that reduces repetitive support work.
  • Experience in a fast-moving media, entertainment, technology, or creative business.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Executives trust you to anticipate their needs and resolve problems with urgency and discretion.
  • Board and leadership meetings have tested technology, clear support coverage, and workable contingency plans.
  • NYC employees start with working equipment and appropriate access, and receive consistent, effective support.
  • Office networks, conference rooms, and other local systems are maintained proactively, with recurring problems addressed.
  • Office technology projects meet agreed readiness milestones, with risks and dependencies communicated early.
  • Documentation and coordinated backup coverage allow other IT team members to support the site effectively.

The target total compensation ranges from $88,000 – $110,000 including a fixed annual salary of $80,000 – $100,000, an employee equity plan grant, bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.

Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.
