Main Street Automotive
Main Street Automotive is hiring a Regional Training Manager (RTM)—a field-based operational leader responsible for elevating performance across both new hires and existing store teams. This role operates at an Assistant Regional Manager level and exists to standardize execution, eliminate poor habits, and ensure every store is aligned with MSA’s non-negotiable processes. Extensive experience in service writing or shop management is required, as RTMs are expected to train and certify employees before they enter active roles. RTMs are part of our in-house development program and are considered next in line for Regional Manager roles, pending strong performance and results in this position.
The RTM conducts structured new hire training, certifies GMs and SAs in phone process, scripts, TekMetric workflow, DVI standards, estimate presentation, 5-star reviews, PM recommendations, and margin awareness. In existing stores, the RTM assesses process adoption, grades phone calls using the MSA phone grade sheet, audits DVIs, coaches live in the field, role plays with teams, and retrains immediately when standards are not followed. They partner with the Regional Manager to target behavior gaps, provide real-time process intervention, and deliver documented findings and coaching recommendations to leadership every week.
The ideal candidate is a skilled educator, confident coach, and strong communicator with high emotional intelligence and deep understanding of MSA systems, processes, and sales psychology. This role requires frequent travel across multiple locations and the ability to hold teams accountable with professionalism and clarity. Success will be measured through increased phone conversion, DVI quality and viewed rates, PM penetration, 5-star reviews, employee ramp time, and reduced performance variance between high and low-performing stores. The RTM is expected to raise the process floor and elevate the performance ceiling—while preparing themselves to become the next generation of Regional Managers at MSA.
