We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director, Opportunities to take full ownership of our proposal request process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all proposal requests are handled efficiently and that the entire process delivers a world-class experience for our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of proposal management.

Responsibilities
- Provide oversight over all incoming opportunities to all current and future operating businesses to ensure both that clients are receiving world class customer service and that internal systems are accurate and being followed.
- Make sure either proposal due date has been communicated with client OR client knows what we need from them to do so.
- Identify proposal related issues and try to bring up well in advance of due date (proposal critical path management such as reaching out to subs immediately vs waiting).
- Perform QC (and increasing sense of urgency) to hit proposal due dates (meaning submitted by 5pm on due date vs after hours)
- Ensure prequalification process is being followed
- Perform Salesforce opportunity creation Quality Control
- Update and educate BD & Estimating team members on SOP and SOP changes
- Perform QC on proposal workflow is being followed by entire team
- Perform quality control on turnkey process. Take ownership over turnkey SOP. Hold more turkey process meetings w/ team members. Ensure internal communication is occurring at onset and prior to proposal due date.
- Work closely with BD team to identify process issues and situations where customer service is lacking to try and produce solutions.
- Work closely with owner to recommend and implement process changes.
- Create database of opportunities where issues were located and close all of them out and use this data to learn going forward.
- Communicate issues to managers and meet with managers and team members to go over issues.
- Train team members and drive culture of providing world class customer service.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have min of 5 years of experience in AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry
- Must have a sense of urgency when working with clients
- Must be customer service driven
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have experience drafting, implementing and training on SOP's
- Experience with helping grow/scale a business (preferred)
