Construction Laborer

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the foreman and follow instructions for daily job site operations.
• Drive company-issued vehicles as required.
• Assist with the installation of silt fences and super silt fences efficiently.
• Operate hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and brooms as needed.
• Follow directions from the crew foreman to complete tasks safely and effectively.
• For those with a valid driver's license, operate an F-450 dump truck with a trailer and either a bobcat or mini excavator (non-CDL).

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States
• Some construction or landscaping experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Previous experience with silt fence and erosion controls is a plus
• Bobcat and Mini Excavator operating experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.
• Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
• Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
