Specialist - Paid Media, Growth Marketing
The Paid Media Specialist, Growth Marketing, will support the strategic development, execution, and optimization of brand awareness campaigns designed to drive discovery, engagement, and consideration of Murad. This role will focus on building brand presence across media channels while supporting broader marketing initiatives, including product launches and seasonal campaigns. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, with expertise in digital channels that prioritize reach, engagement, and audience growth.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management
- Drive the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns focused on brand awareness and consideration objectives.
- Manage campaigns across key channels with thoughtful targeting strategies that deliver reach across new consumer segments.
- Monitor performance and optimize distinct KPIs for each stage of the funnel, including reach, impressions, video completion rate, engagement, and cost efficiency.
- Implement A/B tests across audiences, creative formats, and placements to improve campaign performance.
- Partner and manage agencies to drive flawless execution of all campaigns and reporting at both the strategic and tactical levels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Brand, Creative, and Consumer Engagement teams to organize creative needs to drive synergies across consumer facing touchpoints.
- Provide performance insights and feedback to internal teams to inform future creative development and messaging.
- Work with analytics teams to ensure proper campaign tracking and measurement, including testing frameworks.
- Work with internal teams to evaluate product marketing performance and make recommendations on customer acquisition opportunities (bundles, hero products)
- Evaluate the efficacy of targeting and work with e-commerce, performance marketing, and/or retail to ensure quality audiences are being reached.
- Own and manage paid media campaign budgets, including building proposals with KPIs and ensuring campaigns are delivered to plan.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track campaign performance and develop regular reports on awareness and engagement metrics.
- Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Support post-campaign analysis and share learnings with marketing and leadership teams.
- Analyze incrementality testing frameworks (e.g. conversion lift, brand lift studies) to validate the impact of upper-funnel investment.
- Work with analytics team/vendors to evaluate media mix models or contribute to MMM/attribution discussions to connect brand-building spend to downstream financial outcomes.
Audience & Market Insights
- Identify new opportunities and emerging platforms to expand brand reach with relevant audiences.
- Build and manage mid-funnel audience pools to support consideration campaigns; partner with analytics to develop customer journey mapping and develop campaigns to lower drop-off between funnel stages.
- Stay informed on platform updates, consumer behavior trends, and competitive activity within the beauty and consumer space.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, or brand marketing, preferably in beauty, fashion, or consumer verticals.
- Experience managing campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Display; experience with programmatic channels.
- Familiarity with upper-funnel campaign objectives and metrics, including reach, impressions, engagement rate, and video completion rate.
- Demonstrated experience managing upper and mid-funnel campaigns.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience collaborating with creative teams to test and optimize ad formats.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to tell stories through paid media by translating media performance into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders.

The expected base salary for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors, including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
