Product Manager

Remote - US

At Murj, we do what we love and love what we do!

Murj was founded in 2014 to solve a problem witnessed first-hand. Founder and CEO, Todd, worked with cardiology practices as an implantable cardiac device sales representative for Medtronic. He watched clinicians struggle to manage these sophisticated devices using outdated and inadequate tools. Having previously worked in product management at Apple, Todd knew that brilliant design can profoundly impact the user experience -- so why not design a better way to care for patients with implantable devices?

In Murj, Todd created an enterprise SaaS cardiac device management software solutions company that reimagines and transforms patient care through thoughtful design and a passion for quality and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Today, Murj continues this transformative innovation with intuitive, elegant, and imaginative technology solutions that improve the lives of cardiac care professionals and their patients.

What Murj offers.

Murj is for people seeking a fast-paced, ever-changing environment surrounded by a supportive team that works hard and strives for innovation and professionalism, with a steady diet of humility and camaraderie.

And in joining Murj, you are joining a community that believes in evolution and promotion from within; there is a high degree of opportunity for progression, creativity, and ownership.

From your first day at Murj, you are eligible for full medical, dental, and vision insurance along with an open vacation policy, more than 10 annual company holidays, and competitive compensation and equity participation, and a 401(k) after 3 months of service.

How We Work at Murj

Murj is the right place for people who excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Murj embodies a high-performance culture  where every team member is expected to exceed expectations and take ownership beyond their role to drive our collective success.

Employees should be comfortable working independently and taking initiative to identify and address needs. This proactive approach is essential to thriving at Murj.

We believe in working hard together, with a shared sense of purpose and drive. We’re not afraid to ask tough questions, and we support each other in reaching for bold new ideas.

Let us leave you with this.

If this role sounds intriguing - we encourage you to apply. And we encourage applicants to embrace new challenges, as the right fit at Murj is often more about the person and the challenges they seek, not just what they have accomplished in the past.

About The Role.

Murj is a leading innovator in healthcare technology, developing cutting-edge SaaS solutions that empower cardiologists, healthcare providers, and patients through data integration, seamless digital workflows, and advanced analytics.

We are seeking a Product Manager with direct experience in cloud-based software solutions to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you define product requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that our solutions exceed the needs of healthcare providers.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS product management and deep familiarity with the cardiovascular healthcare landscape.  You are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. You see opportunities where others see gaps. You are comfortable working independently, and taking the initiative to identify and address work needed, but not necessarily assigned.

What You’ll Do.

  • Define and prioritize platform enhancements aligned with corporate goals, customer needs and cross-functional requests.
  • Translate complex clinical needs into data-driven solutions and communicate the business value of product initiatives to leadership, sales, engineering, and marketing teams.
  • Gather and refine requirements through direct collaboration with physicians, allied health professionals and administrative stakeholders.
  • Support product demonstrations and technical discussions with key accounts and at select tradeshows.
  • Keep current with the fast-changing market landscape, including competitive activity, new technologies and reimbursement changes.
  • Track and report on project progress and key metrics to stakeholders and collaborators.

What Makes You a Great Fit.

  • Experience working in an agile development environment with a strong ability to prioritize and execute on product initiatives
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable and can reprioritize when the roadmap changes based on a big client win, a competitive threat, or new user feedback.
  • Understand the day-to-day workflow of Murj clinical users and our desire to reduce their workload.
  • Patient centric, remembering that behind every great feature Murj builds are patients whose safety and health outcomes we strive to improve.
  • Don't wait to be told what to do; actively look for what needs to be done.
  • Willing to step into gaps —whether it's writing documentation, helping with a sales demo, or doing hands-on QA.

What You Bring.

  • Bachelor’s degree required (product management, project management, computer science, informational technology, or related field preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS and healthcare technology environment, leveraging AI/ML technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cardiology workflows, electronic health records (EHRs), and healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)

Nice To Haves.

  • Deep understanding of the Murj platform and underlying data structures.
  • Understanding of HIPAA/PHI security regulations
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, for example Jira or BaseCamp Shape Up methodology.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days).

  • You’re owning the product requirements for key functionality across Murj’s software platforms.
  • You’ve established solid working relationships within the Product team and across the key partners within Murj, including Engineering, Marketing, Integration Services, and Sales.
  • You are able to demo the Murj platform to clinicians and other external stakeholders.

Travel expectations: 21-30%: Occasional travel for meetings or events
