Job Summary
The People Experience (HR) Generalist will serve as a key contributor to the People Experience team by executing core generalist functions, supporting daily operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, adaptable HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment; can partner effectively across departments; and is eager to take on new challenges. The People Experience Generalist will serve as a central resource for employees and leaders, supporting all stages of the employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate is well-rounded in core HR processes and technically savvy—comfortable managing our HRIS (Workday) or assisting the people team in ad hoc requests. The People Experience Generalist plays a vital role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring smooth People Team processes.
Job Duties

Provide general People Team support to both the employees and People Business Partners; serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries

Participate in People Team projects and initiatives to improve People Team processes and contribute to organizational success.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and EEO, including maintaining employee records and proper documentation.

Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and practices; support audits, reporting, and documentation requirements.

Partner with the the legal team to update and revise the Team Member Handbook and State Supplements.

Assist with the creation and implementation of People Team policies and procedures, ensuring that employees understand and adhere to them.

Support leadership in delivering communications on policy updates and organizational changes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in Workday.

Generate reports and analyze HR data to support management decisions.

Support performance improvement initiatives and assist with managing performance-related documentation.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and values-aligned workplace cultures.

Partner with Talent Acquisition on onboarding and new hire experiences.

Support offboarding processes and exit managements.

Support global mobility program.

Assist with workforce changes including transfers, promotions, and job changes.

Support internal communications related to people programs.

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and employee experience.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

2+ years of HR experience with a focus on generalist duties.

Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and HR best practices.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday or similar) and Google Suite.

HR certification (aPHR or PHR) is a plus.
