As Creative Director, you will establish visual guidelines that communicate the MX mission effectively, build scalable creative workflows that empower the broader organization, and ensure all creative work is purposeful, on-brand, and tailored to customer use cases and business outcomes. 

This role is essential to advancing MX's mission through industry-leading storytelling and visionary design leadership. You are accountable for uncovering, shaping, and championing creative solutions that address MX's most pressing business challenges while driving revenue-impacting initiatives.Your success will be measured by the positive brand associations you cultivate, the high-performing creative assets you develop, the efficiency of your creative operations, and the role your work plays in driving customer acquisition and closing business.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Shape and champion the creative vision by establishing visual guidelines, brand standards, and storytelling frameworks that communicate MX's mission effectively across all touchpoints while maintaining alignment with strategic offerings and go-to-market strategies

• Direct the end-to-end creative process—from concept through delivery—ensuring creative excellence, brand consistency, and business alignment at each stage. Mentor and guide the creative team through MX's standard tools, timelines, and quality control processes

• Build scalable creative operations and workflows that seamlessly fulfill design and asset needs for internal teams. Develop and maintain strategic creative roadmaps aligned with MX's business objectives and anticipate future creative capabilities

• Empower MX team members with self-serve tools, templates, and resources to produce high-quality, on-brand content independently, expanding creative capacity across the organization

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Brand teams to develop clear strategic understandings, translate technical solutions into compelling customer-ready narratives, and ensure consistent messaging across all client touchpoints

• Discover and understand audience values and pain points to inform emotionally resonant creative strategy. Lead creative reviews, secure stakeholder approvals, and conduct performance post-mortems to evaluate outcomes and apply learnings to future work

• Articulate the rationale behind creative decisions to stakeholders, demonstrating how creative work builds brand trust, drives meaningful engagement, and contributes to revenue-driving initiatives and measurable pipeline generation



Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in creative leadership, design direction, or related creative roles within marketing, branding, or digital agencies, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop creative teams

• Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, or regulated financial services environments with exposure to complex go-to-market strategies and enterprise sales enablement.

• Mastery of visual communication, design systems, and multimedia production. Proficiency in modern design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and web design principles

• Deep understanding of brand strategy, positioning, identity, and how to maintain consistency across marketing and product touchpoints in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

• Demonstrated ability to develop strategically aligned, scalable creative solutions that drive measurable business outcomes, including pipeline generation and customer acquisition

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent professional portfolio demonstrating mastery)



Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating audience psychology and human values mapping (HVM) insights into emotionally resonant creative strategies and campaigns

• Track record of challenging creative boundaries, pushing visual trends forward, and maintaining awareness of competitive landscapes and best practices within relevant industries

• Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams on demand generation, product marketing, and sales enablement initiatives that directly impact revenue
