Account Executive, Wealth Management

Lehi, Utah, United States

MX is a fintech company on a mission to empower the world to be financially strong. We build technology that helps banks, credit unions, and fintechs deliver smarter, more intuitive financial experiences to millions of people.

Like many startups, we’ve navigated real growth challenges — and we’ve come out stronger on the other side. Today, MX is in a phase of renewed momentum and scale, with a solid foundation and a clear vision for what’s next. This is a place where thoughtful execution matters, innovation is encouraged, and individuals have real ownership over their work.

Our culture values curiosity, accountability, and impact. We give people the space to question assumptions, design better solutions, and help shape how the company grows. If you’re looking to do meaningful work, influence outcomes, and grow alongside a company that’s ready to move fast, you’ll feel at home at MX.

The Account Executive, Wealth Management role is crucial to establishing and scaling MX's presence in a new territory: the investments and wealth management space. MX is expanding beyond traditional banking and fintech to serve brokerage firms, wealth management providers (RIAs, broker-dealers, and enterprise wealth divisions), and wealth technology companies.

This role exists to identify high-priority business needs within these organizations and champion MX solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. By owning direct sales within this territory, this Account Executive will drive MX's revenue growth in the wealth and investments space, establish our market presence as a solutions provider for wealth use cases, and unlock new opportunities for long-term client relationships and expansion.

• Drive sustainable high-margin revenue growth through disciplined sales execution, CRM management, deal assessment, and long-term account expansion planning on a quarterly basis

• Partner cross-functionally with business development, sales consultants, product, Deal Desk, and Legal to design, negotiate, and close complex enterprise solutions

• Identify and develop emerging distribution partnerships with wealth technology companies to expand MX's reach into the wealth space

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct enterprise or complex deal sales experience to wealth and investments organizations (brokerage firms, RIAs, broker-dealers, wealth management providers, investment platforms, or wealthtech companies), including demonstrated quota attainment history

• Deep functional knowledge of the wealth and investments industry, including understanding of wealth management workflows, ACATS transfers, asset verification, account aggregation, and investment data management

• Previous sales experience in fintech, SaaS, or regulated financial services environments with exposure to enterprise sales cycles

• Proficiency with enterprise CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and ability to maintain disciplined pipeline management and sales forecasting

• Demonstrated success opening new markets or territories and scaling revenue growth from zero to seven figures or higher

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, finance, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling to or supporting financial data, account aggregation, or fintech solutions that address wealth and investments use cases

• Experience in strategic account planning, territory expansion, and partner enablement within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
