We are the leading media company and marketing agency for growth audiences, the fastest-moving and most culturally influential consumer segments in the U.S. We define growth audiences differently: not just by age, but by expanding economic power, cultural influence, and market impact across generations.

At My Code, listening is our core engine. It is our tool, our hiring strategy, and our approach to every brief. We listen intently to the audiences shaping tomorrow, allowing us to move our clients into authentic, uncharted territory.

My Code is majority-owned by Ariel Alternatives LLC's Project Black, which aims to scale businesses to serve as suppliers-of-choice to Fortune 500 companies. For more information, please visit www.mycodemedia.com.

About the Role:

My Code is seeking a strategic and revenue-driven Account Director, Brand Partnerships to lead growth across a portfolio of high-value brand and agency relationships. In this role, you will develop and scale integrated, multi-platform partnerships that align with client business objectives and drive measurable impact.

As a senior seller, you will own pipeline development, manage complex buying cycles, and cultivate executive-level relationships across key accounts. You’ll partner cross-functionally with strategy, creative, and marketing teams to deliver insight-led solutions that unlock long-term revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring and activate existing brand and agency relationships while expanding My Code’s footprint within your established network.
  • Drive net-new business development, proactively prospecting and converting new opportunities across priority categories.
  • Own and grow a portfolio of accounts, delivering integrated, multi-platform partnerships that align to client business objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that unlock expansion revenue and long-term partnership growth.
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle — from outreach and proposal development to executive presentations, negotiation, contracting, and renewal.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior marketers and agency partners, translating business goals into customized media and branded content solutions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with strategy, creative, marketing, and production teams to deliver high-impact, insight-led programs.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM management, accurate forecasting, and consistent achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Represent the company externally at industry events and key marketplace engagements.

The Impact You’ll Make:

You will directly influence My Code’s revenue growth by converting relationships into long-term, scalable partnerships. Through strategic account development and new business generation, you will expand our presence within priority categories, unlock new brand investments, and drive measurable revenue impact.

Your ability to translate client objectives into high-performing, culturally relevant programs will strengthen our market position, deepen agency partnerships, and contribute meaningfully to the company’s sustained growth.

Qualifications:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in media sales, branded content, or integrated marketing partnerships, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated success driving both net-new business and expansion revenue across brand and agency partners.
  • Established relationships within agencies and/or direct brand marketers, with the ability to open doors and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Experience managing complex sales processes, including executive presentations, negotiation, and multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
  • Strong understanding of digital media, branded content, experiential, sponsorships, and cross-platform marketing solutions.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate client business objectives into customized, insight-led proposals.
  • Highly organized with disciplined pipeline management and accurate revenue forecasting experience.
  • Collaborative approach, with experience partnering cross-functionally to bring integrated programs to market.
  • Deep passion for culture, community, and purpose-driven brand work.
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion both internally and externally.
  • Be a leader and embrace our team’s core values: Culture First, Play Like a Team, Pave The Way, Care, and Think Big.

Compensation & Total Rewards:

At My Code, we believe that world-class culture is fueled by people who feel valued, empowered, and inspired. Our compensation philosophy goes beyond base salary; we’ve built a Total Rewards ecosystem that invests in your benefits, physical and mental well-being, and long-term career trajectory.

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000. We take a data-driven approach to pay. If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
