Job Summary

MycoWorks is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the market development for Reishi™ within the home furniture, interior design, packaging and architecture industries. This role is key to expanding our presence in the luxury and high-end design markets, leveraging your expertise in fabric sales, industry knowledge, and your established network of potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:


Market Development: Drive the expansion of Reishi™ into the home furniture, interior design, and architecture sectors by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to introduce Reishi™ as a sustainable, high-performance material for luxury and design applications.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with high-end brands, design firms, architects, and manufacturers in the home furniture and interior design industries.

Sell Production Capacity: Sell MycoWorks' production capabilities, ensuring clients can scale their use of Reishi™ for their projects and meet their sustainability goals.

Product Education & Promotion: Effectively communicate the unique benefits of Reishi™, including its sustainability, performance, and design versatility, to clients.

Networking & Partnerships: Leverage your established network within the interior design, architecture, and high-end furniture industries to develop partnerships and expand MycoWorks' market reach.

International Travel & Representation: Travel internationally (up to 30%) to meet clients, attend industry events, and build MycoWorks’ presence in key markets.

Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and provide regular updates to the leadership team.

Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets, providing regular progress updates and performance reports.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years in selling fabrics, textiles, or materials to the home furniture, interior design, or architecture industries.

Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the home furniture, interior design, and architecture markets, with an understanding of key players, trends, and material sourcing.

Network: A strong, established network of relationships with high-end brands, interior designers, architects, and home furniture manufacturers.

Bilingual: Fluent in both French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

Sales Skills: Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships, and manage complex sales processes in a B2B environment.

Sustainability Passion: Strong interest in sustainable materials and a desire to promote eco-friendly alternatives like Reishi™.

Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time, attending meetings, events, and conferences.

Tech-Savvy: Proficient with CRM systems and sales analytics tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Self-Motivated: Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
