Sr. Manager, Growth & Monetization Analytics

Remote - US

At MyFitnessPal, we believe good health starts with what you eat. We provide tools, resources and support to enable users to reach their health goals.

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic analytics leader to build and scale a world-class team supporting Growth Marketing, Advertising, and Strategic Partnerships. This role goes far beyond baseline reporting—you’ll architect the analytics foundation that powers user acquisition, ad monetization, and partnership success. You’ll work closely with cross-functional leaders to transform data into strategic insights that help create a narrative for partners and directly impact revenue growth.

You’ll report to the VP of Analytics and partner day-to-day with the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and VPs of Growth Marketing, Brand, Ad Sales, and Partnerships. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the way analytics drives decision-making across the business's go-to-market engine.

If you are excited to architect the analytics backbone for fast-growing advertising and partnerships functions—and to turn data into outsized user and revenue growth—let’s talk.

What you’ll be doing:

Team Leadership

  • Hire, mentor, and inspire analysts; set clear objectives that align tightly with company growth goals and foster a culture of curiosity and rapid delivery
  • Balance strategic direction with hands-on execution, including unblocking technical challenges, reviewing work, and coaching for impact
  • Prioritize across multiple stakeholders; allocate your resources effectively and say no to otherwise good ideas in order to say yes to the strategic focus
  • Forge trusted-advisor relationships with the CMO, CRO, and senior marketing and sales leaders; help craft narratives for decision-making and board-level communications

Acquisition & Growth Analytics

  • Lead analysis of marketing funnel performance across paid, organic, and earned media
  • Run and interpret experiments (e.g., creative tests, offer tests, and geo-lift studies)
  • Support attribution refinement and incrementality measurement to understand ROI across channels

Ad Sales & Strategic Partnerships Analytic Support

  • Build the analytics foundation for our ads business, combining programmatic monetization insight with support for a growing direct sales operation
  • Work cross-functionally to evolve measurement frameworks for ad inventory performance and value per use across channels
  • Measure and optimize partner programs—from affiliate performance to co-branded campaigns and revenue-sharing models
  • Provide insight into partner segmentation, activation trends, and deal impact modeling to support business development

Data Storytelling & Content Creation

  • Translate user data into compelling narratives and insights to support marketing campaigns, press initiatives, and sales/partner decks
  • Equip GTM teams with scalable, data-backed assets that highlight user behaviors, audience segments, and platform value

Building the Foundation

  • Stand up the end-to-end data pipeline—from raw data to clean, governed tables feeding dashboards and self-serve tools
  • Lead the build of dashboards, experimentation frameworks, and predictive models that operationalize insights
  • Champion and test-and-learn mindset across all monetization and growth functions

Requirements

  • Passion for analytics that drives both growth and monetization
  • Passion for business partnership: thriving in a matrixed environment and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Passion for leading while remaining hands-on: comfortable shifting from strategic planning to code review
  • Passion for clear, persuasive communication: turning complex analysis into actionable stories
  • Passion for building from zero to one: eager to establish new processes, iterate, and course-correct quickly

Qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Analytics Expertise: 8+ years in applied marketing or growth analytics, with at least 3 years focused on acquisition and paid media; experience with partnership, ads measurement, or revenue analytics is a plus
  • Leadership: 2+ years managing analysts or data scientists; proven ability to hire, develop, and retain top talent
  • Tool Kit: Advanced SQL and Python (or R); proficiency with marketing attribution platforms, A/B testing frameworks, and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau). Ad tech platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DV360) is a plus
  • Marketing Fluency and Experimental Rigor: Deep understanding of incrementality testing, MMM, and causal inference for marketing channels
  • Strategic Influence: Demonstrated success translating analytics into budget allocations, channel optimizations, or partnership deal terms
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
