You are inventive, endlessly curious and a fan of lifelong learning. You will work side-by-side with experienced Industry professionals from True&Co, Calvin Klein and Victoria’s Secret to build a new online lingerie brand that combines a strong technical design foundation with sexy new design.
At Mylk, we create lingerie and loungewear that is stunningly beautiful and of high quality. As a valued member of our Product Technical Innovation team, you will play a key role in assisting the team to seamlessly deliver samples and develop the collection.

Key Accountabilities:
Under the guidance of the Head of Technical Design, the Associate Technical Designer is responsible to support the execution of the design aesthetic and fit direction for the given categories within the Intimate Apparel and loungewear categories.
- Prepare technical specification packages with garment construction details for our manufacturing partners
- Assist in all fit sessions necessary to achieve final approvals
- Prepare and measure garments prior to fitting
- Take detailed notes in fit sessions, complete technical reports post fitting
- Provide vendors with additional corrective action recommendations illustrated by photos, diagrams, and email communication
- Sketch out and ascertaining pattern corrections
- Simultaneously organize and track product movement across multiple seasons
- Act as the liaison for communication between product development and design teams
- Provide technical recommendations and resolutions for fit and constructionIssueS
- Track fit samples
- Provide input to the sourcing and design teams regarding vendor's capabilities of meeting technical design standards
- Adhere to the department standards and best practices for product fit and process compliance
Why You’re The One We’re Looking For
A degree in Apparel Design, Technical Design or Fashion Design
- 3 to 5 years' experience in technical design,
- Working knowledge and or understanding of pattern, garment construction, basic grading, and vendor/factory communication
- Working knowledge of computer programs, such as Microsoft Office Programs, PLM, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Detail oriented/ organizational skills
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form
