About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to join our expanding Portfolio Management team. In this pivotal role, you will lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery of medium to large-scale projects and programs with high complexity, adhering to scope, quality, time, and cost constraints to deliver significant business value. You will play a key role in supporting Portfolio Managers on large initiatives and mentoring junior team members, fostering their development in project management and professional skills. This position is ideal for a senior-level professional with a proven track record in managing complex programs and projects and driving strategic outcomes.

Objectives of the Role

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that align with organizational objectives.
  • Develop program roadmaps for prospective clients that can be converted into action by other project management team members
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.
  • Oversee multiple project teams to ensure program goals are achieved.
  • Lead complex initiatives as primary PM as required
  • Manage budget and funding channels to maximize productivity.
  • Lead and manage medium to large-scale IT projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
  • Oversee data center migrations and cloud strategies, applying industry best practices and innovative approaches to ensure successful execution.
  • Analyze project scope of work to determine time frame, funding limitations, and appropriate lifecycle for delivering projects.
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to program and project team members throughout the project life cycle and lead efforts to establish a work plan for project activities, iterations, or phases.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans, conduct risk assessments, create mitigation strategies, and manage stakeholder engagement and project documentation.
  • Ensure project objectives align with business goals by coordinating activities, managing schedules, and adhering to budget constraints.
  • Oversee the Profit and Loss (P&L) aspects of projects, closely monitoring financial performance, including revenue, costs, and margins, to ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, adjusting schedules or plans as necessary to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Oversee multiple projects ensuring they meet client requirements and company standards.
  • Oversee and support team members responsible for coordinating logistics for teams of 20-125+ technicians, ensuring efficient travel arrangements and accommodations are organized effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Follow Myriad360’s program and project management processes and methodologies to deliver successful client-focused outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Required Skills and Qualifications

The Program Manager will ideally have the skills and experience listed below, but we take a holistic approach to talent matching and are open to a variety of backgrounds, particularly those that include providing exceptional customer service and support.

  • PMI PMP certification required or
  • Preference will be given to candidates with PfMP or PgMP certification through PMI
  • Certification must be listed in PMI registry online
  • Expertise in budget management and financial reporting required.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in program management.
  • 5 years of external client-facing experience handling multiple clients at one time
  • Experience managing large-scale global projects, especially those involving coordination of multiple large teams and subcontractors across different locations.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar tools for planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.
  • Proven ability to use collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace for effective communication and coordination.
  • Expertise in Smartsheet entire suite including worksapps is preferred but not required
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills to motivate and manage diverse teams, including subcontractors and internal staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and coaching junior project managers and team members.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Exceptional ability to identify and handle project risks and issues, including dispute resolution and negotiation.
  • Proven ability to handle contract negotiations and project change orders

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors required
  • Master’s degree. Information technology systems or computer science degree is a plus.
  • Mid-Large scale cloud migrations and experience with deploying hybrid cloud strategies.
  • Understanding and/or knowledge of Firewall, Endpoint Security, Identity Access Management (IAM).

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $140,000 - $155,000. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
