About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Google Workspace environments, including licensing models, configuration, and client support. This role is responsible for providing expert guidance, proactive management, and strategic solutions to help clients maximize the value of their cloud platforms. Knowledge of Azure and AWS billing is a significant plus.

Expert Guidance on Cloud Platforms

  • Provide clients with in-depth advice on Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace licensing, configuration, and best practices to optimize productivity and control costs
  • Interpret and explain complex licensing and subscription models across both platforms
  • Support clients in selecting and implementing the right plans and add-ons to meet their organizational needs

Licensing and Subscription Assessments

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ current cloud licensing and subscription positions
  • Utilize Myriad360’s SaaS optimization platform to perform detailed analysis, identify compliance gaps, and uncover cost-saving opportunities across Microsoft and Google environments
  • Recommend strategies to right-size licensing, improve utilization, and enhance overall efficiency

Strategic Cloud Solutions

  • Develop customized cloud management and licensing strategies aligned with clients’ operational goals and budget constraints
  • Assist in forecasting future licensing and subscription needs based on organizational growth and technology adoption

Ongoing Platform Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for cloud-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and escalations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and superior client satisfaction
  • Support clients through migrations, renewals, and platform changes for both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Stay Updated on Platform and Licensing Changes

  • Monitor updates, feature releases, and licensing changes from Microsoft and Google
  • Advise clients proactively about how updates may impact their users, costs, and compliance

Cloud Billing and Cost Management

  • Utilize understanding of Azure and AWS billing to provide integrated cloud cost management advice
  • Help clients navigate cross-platform licensing and billing complexities in hybrid environments

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for cloud productivity platforms
  • Partner with sales and technical teams to ensure alignment of cloud solutions with client business goals

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare detailed reports on licensing positions, subscription usage, and optimization recommendations
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all client interactions, cloud platform configurations, and agreements
  • Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section
  • Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts
  • Other duties as assigned 

Desired skills and experience: 

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Specialist, Licensing Consultant, or in a similar client-facing cloud services role
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace licensing and administration
  • Familiarity with Azure and AWS billing practices is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex cloud licensing and billing data
  • Experience using SaaS management or optimization tools is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple client engagements
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Google Workspace Administrator) are a plus

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $180,000- $200,000 OTE, plus opportunities for bonus and/or commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
