About This Role

As a Mid-Level Network Engineer within our Delivery Services team, you will support the implementation, deployment, migration, and operational support of enterprise networking solutions across a variety of customer environments.

This role is highly collaborative and delivery-focused, requiring strong technical capabilities, operational maturity, and the ability to work effectively within project teams. You will participate in customer implementations, staging activities, maintenance windows, and technical troubleshooting while continuing to develop toward independent delivery ownership.

This position directly impacts customer success, project execution quality, and service delivery excellence. You will help customers modernize and maintain critical infrastructure environments while supporting scalable, reliable networking solutions.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with and eventually independently execute deployment of enterprise network infrastructure solutions
  • Configure and support routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and VPN technologies
  • Participate in network migrations, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure modernization projects
  • Support staging, validation, and testing of customer solutions prior to production deployment
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and production cutovers as required
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, wireless, and security-related issues
  • Support escalation activities during project implementations and customer incidents
  • Perform root cause analysis and assist with remediation planning
  • Work collaboratively with senior engineers, project managers, and technical leads
  • Create and maintain implementation documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
  • Support continuous improvement of delivery standards, deployment processes, and operational workflows

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on network engineering or infrastructure support experience
  • Experience supporting enterprise networking environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts
  • Familiarity with routing and switching technologies
  • Experience supporting wireless networking environments
  • Exposure to firewall and VPN technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours implementation and maintenance activities
  • Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, or similar technologies preferred
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and identity platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, etc.) preferred
  • Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware preferred
  • Experience working in Professional Services, Managed Services, or customer delivery environments preferred
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE, Aruba, or equivalent preferred

  • Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
  • VLANs, STP, DHCP, DNS
  • VPN technologies and MFA solutions
  • Firewall policy configuration
  • Wireless deployment and troubleshooting
  • Network monitoring and management platforms
  • Microsoft infrastructure services
  • Network documentation and diagramming

Must be based in the United States.

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $110,000-$125,000 base salary, plus opportunities for bonus. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
