About The Role

As a Senior Network Engineer specializing in Enterprise Core Routing & Switching, you will design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise network infrastructures spanning campus, data center, WAN, cloud, and security environments. You will serve as a senior technical resource, providing architecture leadership, implementation expertise, customer consulting, and technical mentorship across a wide range of client engagements.

Working closely with customers, project managers, solution architects, and delivery teams, you will lead complex infrastructure projects while helping organizations build resilient, scalable, and secure network environments.

This role directly impacts customer success, project quality, technical innovation, and the continued growth of Myriad360's Professional Services practice.

Other responsibilities include: 

Enterprise Network Architecture & Design

  • Design and implement enterprise routing and switching solutions for campus, branch, headquarters, and data center environments
  • Develop scalable Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architectures supporting high availability, resiliency, and business continuity
  • Lead infrastructure refresh, migration, consolidation, and modernization initiatives
  • Create high-level and low-level design documentation, implementation plans, and operational procedures
  • Develop technical standards, design best practices, and deployment methodologies

Core Routing & Switching

  • Deploy and support enterprise routing technologies including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, route redistribution, and policy-based routing
  • Configure and troubleshoot switching technologies including VLANs, STP, RSTP, MST, EtherChannel, LACP, HSRP, VRRP, and multicast
  • Perform network performance analysis, optimization, and capacity planning
  • Support highly available enterprise network environments across multiple customer locations

Data Center Networking

  • Design and support modern data center networking solutions utilizing Cisco Nexus platforms, VXLAN EVPN fabrics, Spine-Leaf architectures, and Data Center Interconnect (DCI)
  • Participate in data center migration, modernization, and expansion initiatives
  • Support UCS-integrated environments and virtualized infrastructure platforms
  • Implement resilient networking solutions supporting mission-critical workloads

SD-WAN & WAN Technologies

  • Design and deploy enterprise WAN solutions utilizing Aruba EdgeConnect (Silver Peak), Cisco SD-WAN, and Meraki SD-WAN
  • Optimize application performance, WAN resiliency, and branch connectivity
  • Support MPLS, DIA, Internet, and hybrid WAN architectures

Security Integration

  • Collaborate with security teams to implement secure enterprise networking solutions
  • Integrate Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, and Check Point security technologies
  • Implement network segmentation, VPN, NAC, and Zero Trust initiatives
  • Support security assessments, remediation activities, and best-practice implementations

Wireless & Cloud Networking

  • Design and support enterprise wireless solutions utilizing Cisco, Aruba, and Meraki platforms
  • Perform wireless assessments, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Design and support hybrid cloud networking utilizing AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Transit Gateway, and Virtual Network connectivity
  • Assist customers with cloud migration and hybrid networking initiatives

Operations, Leadership & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex networking incidents and technical challenges
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching, wireless, WAN, security, and cloud technologies
  • Conduct root cause analysis and document corrective actions
  • Lead technical workshops, design reviews, and customer planning sessions
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while promoting technical excellence across the organization
  • Partner with Sales and Solution Architects to support pre-sales activities, technical validation, and solution development
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance windows, upgrades, and change management activities

Desired skills and experience: 

  • 8–15 years of enterprise network engineering experience
  • Extensive expertise in enterprise routing and switching technologies
  • Experience designing and implementing Cisco-based enterprise networking solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus platforms
  • Experience supporting enterprise wireless networking solutions
  • Experience integrating networking and security technologies
  • Proven success leading enterprise infrastructure deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and operational support capabilities
  • Strong customer-facing consulting and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Aruba, Juniper, Meraki, Fortinet, and Palo Alto technologies
  • Experience designing and implementing SD-WAN solutions
  • Experience with VXLAN EVPN and modern data center architectures
  • Experience with hybrid cloud networking and cloud connectivity
  • Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, or similar technologies
  • Experience working within Professional Services, Managed Services, consulting, or Systems Integrator environments

Must be based in the United States.  

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $175,000-195,000, plus opportunities for profit-sharing bonus and/or commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
