About The Role

As the Professional Services PMO Manager, you will lead Myriad360's Project Management Office and oversee the successful delivery of customer projects across multiple technology practices, including Data Center, Network & Security, Cloud, Collaboration, Field Services, Managed Services, and emerging technologies.

Reporting to Professional Services Leadership, you will manage a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators while establishing project governance, delivery standards, resource management strategies, and operational best practices. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership, you will ensure projects are delivered consistently, profitably, and with an exceptional customer experience.

This role directly impacts customer satisfaction, project profitability, delivery consistency, operational excellence, and the continued growth of Myriad360's Professional Services organization.

Other responsibilities include: 

PMO Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators
  • Establish performance expectations, career development plans, and succession strategies for the PMO organization
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and professional development activities
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top project management talent

Project Delivery Leadership

  • Oversee successful delivery of customer projects across multiple technology practices, including Data Center, Network & Security, Cloud Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Field Services, Managed Services, and Professional Services
  • Monitor portfolio health, including schedule, budget, scope, quality, resource utilization, risks, and customer satisfaction
  • Provide executive oversight for high-risk, strategic, and complex customer engagements
  • Remove organizational obstacles impacting successful project execution
  • Drive consistent project delivery methodologies across the PMO

PMO Governance & Operational Excellence

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve PMO standards, methodologies, templates, and best practices
  • Ensure consistent application of project management processes throughout the organization
  • Maintain governance across project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, change management, and project closure
  • Lead executive portfolio reviews, project health assessments, and operational reporting
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting that improve organizational visibility and decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project quality, forecasting accuracy, utilization, and customer outcomes
  • Capture lessons learned and incorporate improvements into PMO standards and methodologies

Talent Development & Coaching

  • Coach Project Managers on leadership, customer communication, project planning, financial management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Develop training programs that strengthen project management capabilities across multiple technology practices
  • Mentor project teams delivering complex infrastructure and technology implementations
  • Establish career progression paths and promote continuous professional development throughout the PMO
  • Reinforce PMP best practices and project management excellence

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Sales to improve project transitions and customer handoffs
  • Collaborate with Engineering leadership on resource planning and delivery readiness
  • Work closely with Finance to improve forecasting, project profitability, and financial accountability
  • Align project delivery with Professional Services strategic objectives
  • Support enterprise initiatives focused on scalability, operational maturity, and customer satisfaction

Resource & Portfolio Management

  • Manage PMO resource capacity, workload balancing, and staffing priorities
  • Optimize project assignments based on customer needs, technical complexity, and team capabilities
  • Identify resource constraints and develop proactive mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project portfolio performance and proactively address delivery risks
  • Improve forecasting accuracy, delivery predictability, and portfolio health

Desired skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
  • 8+ years of experience leading Project Management teams within Professional Services, Systems Integration, Managed Services, Technology Consulting, or related organizations
  • Experience managing Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex technology implementation projects across multiple technical disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of waterfall, hybrid, and agile project delivery methodologies
  • Proven leadership experience coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing project management professionals
  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, presentation, and organizational leadership skills
  • Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Experience managing portfolios consisting of multiple concurrent customer engagements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading PMOs within a Systems Integrator, Value-Added Reseller (VAR), Managed Services Provider (MSP), or Technology Professional Services organization
  • Experience delivering Data Center, Network & Security, Cloud, Collaboration, Field Services, or Enterprise Infrastructure projects
  • Experience with PSA, ERP, and project management platforms such as NetSuite, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com, ConnectWise, or similar solutions
  • Experience developing PMO governance frameworks and organizational project management maturity
  • Experience with project financial management, forecasting, resource planning, and executive portfolio reporting
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), PgMP, or other advanced project management certifications preferred

Must be based in the United States.  

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $140,000- $160,000 plus opportunities for profit-sharing bonus and/or commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
