Commercial Performance Manager FTC

*this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) on occasion.

The role in a nutshell

As a Commercial Performance Manager at UNiDAYS, you will be an essential part of the Commercial Intelligence team, using data-driven insights and strategic thinking to drive partner success. You will develop performance reporting and recommendations that empower our partners to maximise their impact with the student audience.

Reporting to the Commercial Strategy Lead, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the wider strategy. This role will see you working with key partners across Fashion, Tech, Beauty, Food, Travel, and Wellness categories, spanning all strategic regions.

You should be confident working with data to create insightful reporting and have the ability to translate insights into impactful recommendations. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Tableau is essential.

Day to day responsibilities 

Partner Reporting & Insights:

  • Deliver partner performance evaluation through QBRs and post-campaign analyses, translating campaign success into strategic recommendations that unlock investment opportunities and drive optimisation.
  • Produce regular performance summaries for high-priority partners, including weekly and monthly updates, to support ongoing commercial conversations.
  • Develop external, partner-facing reports that summarise performance, highlight key insights, and present revenue-generating pitches for both commission-based and media-based opportunities.
  • Support Account Managers (AMs) and Account Directors (ADs) by building scalable templates and performance reports to streamline partner reviews.

Commercial Strategy & Partner Success:

  • Conduct internal regional and category reporting to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends, enabling data-driven strategy development.
  • Analyse e-commerce metrics to inform merchandising decisions, define best practices, and enhance partner performance.
  • Prepare for strategic partner meetings by delivering business reviews, pitch proposals, and performance recommendations that drive revenue growth.

What we need from you

  • Commercial background with experience in a data-driven role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau.
  • Ability to work with large datasets to generate actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working across cross-functional teams and building client-facing reports.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce trends and the ability to identify revenue opportunities.
