You’ll be the one bringing the news that matters most to students to life,  turning real stories, hot topics, and relatable moments into scroll-stopping content. We’re after someone with big energy, a passion for storytelling, and an ear to the ground when it comes to Gen Z culture.

If this sounds like you? Keep reading.

Over three months, you’ll create weekly original pieces of content each month, filmed wherever you feel most comfortable (maybe your room, on campus, your favourite coffee spot?). You’ll be working closely with the UNiDAYS Social Team and one of the UK’s leading TikTok agencies to help you bring the content to life across UNiDAYS TikTok and Instagram channels.

This is a fully paid contract with a competitive salary, making it the ideal pre-summer or summer job for someone who wants to build real-world experience in content creation and social media.

Day to day responsibilities

  • Be the host of Student News, filming and presenting weekly short-form videos per month.
  • Work closely with our Social Media Team and agency partners to develop ideas that are timely, shareable, and relevant to students.
  • Research and pitch story ideas that students care about from campus hacks to pop culture moments.
  • Edit in your own unique styles to make your content feel native to TikTok and IG.
  • Take on feedback like a pro, making sure the content aligns with our brand values whilst keeping your content authentic.

What we need from you

  • A confident, creative storyteller, who knows how to tell a story in a fun, relatable way.
  • Comfortable speaking to camera and bringing big energy.
  • Passionate about all things social media, student life and what’s trending online.
  • A self-starter who brings fresh ideas and can deliver from concept to post
  • Skilled in editing on CapCut, InShot or similar mobile editing tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet monthly deadlines

Why This Role Rocks

  • You’ll gain real experience working alongside a major brand and a leading TikTok agency
  • Develop content with full creative freedom (within brand guidelines)
  • Be part of something new, shaping the future of how we speak to students on social
  • A super flexible, part-time and remote-first role. You’ll just need to be available to plan and film the content. This role is designed to fit perfectly around your summer plans
  • A great addition to your CV and portfolio
