Postal Operations Specialist

In a Typical Day, You’ll:
- Identify and promptly research mailing/shipping issues and methods to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the postal service and publication sectors.
- Drive strategic partnerships and vendor relationships via email, phone calls, and video meetings.
- Establish and maintain communication with USPS shipping support and any key industry stakeholders.
- Analyze and optimize postage pricing strategies and adjust rates in response to market and regulatory changes.
- Utilize and handle tickets within FreshDesk, meeting team metrics.
To Land This Gig, You Need:
- In-depth knowledge and experience with BCC Software.
- Expertise in various mailing processes, including seamless acceptance, drop-shipping, and marketing mail.
- Proficient in postage pricing analysis using Google Sheets.
- Proactive in developing postal strategies and improving operational efficiencies.
- Skilled in creating presentations using Google Slides.
- Strong relationship management skills with USPS and shipping vendors.
It’s Not Required, But We’d Love It If You Also Have:
- Experience with FedEx ground and freight shipping logistics.
- Familiarity with the USPS Business Customer Gateway.
