The Role

The Nabis Fleet & Facilities Custodial Associate is a locally-based role that supports the overall cleanliness and sanitation of our world-class Woodlake, CA fulfillment center. This role also supports the execution of the Nabis Corporate preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and vehicle compliance programs in accordance with operational standards and ensures adherence to all local legal, and health and safety regulations. This role operates in collaboration with the Operations, Fleet & Facilities and People teams, providing both strategic and corrective maintenance-based solutions and ensuring the proper allotment of required resources are available to support the day-to-day operations for both “Under the Roof” and “On The Road” activities. This role reports directly to the locally-based Fleet & Facilities Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a routine daily schedule and checklist of general facility housekeeping including trash disposal, routine cleaning and sanitizing in office spaces, bathrooms and common areas as well as the restocking of replenishable items.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the broader warehouse floor and grounds, which can include operating medium-duty equipment.
• Supports Fleet & Facilities Supervisor in (but not limited to):
• Performance and documentation of the Daily Vehicle Inspection and launch process, ensuring road readiness for all dispatched equipment, including delivery vehicles and larger format commercial fleet.
• Scheduling and compilation of day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
• Participation in Site Safety Meetings, including providing updates on the status of the next steps for outstanding or completed items.
• Procures warehouse supplies for all operational functions and maintenance in accordance with the supply budget.
• Maintaining the integrity and escalating failures of a wide array of warehouse infrastructure including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, specialized operational vehicles/equipment
• Assists in coordinating on-site visitor/contractor activities and scheduling in conjunction with Nabis visitor security procedures.
• Assists in daily operations-focused activities, including the disposal and repurposing of corrugated supplies and transfer of materials throughout the building.
• Other duties as determined by business need.

Requirements:

• Must be over the age of 21
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, and twist
• Ability to work occasional overtime and weekend shifts
• Exceptional customer service and professional 
• Adaptability and flexibility to learn new technologies and incorporate them into daily work

Education & Experience:

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Maintenance Certifications a plus
• CDL Experience a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication, and attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including decision making with limited information
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Proactiveness and sense of urgency
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite (proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel)
