Senior Product Manager

Houston, Texas, United States

About Us:

The United States has the poorest maternal and birth outcomes of all developed countries with the underserved, Black, Brown, Indigenous communities disproportionately affected. Nadia Care is working to drastically change the experience of affected communities by reimagining how we deliver meaningful and compassionate care to expectant moms.

Nadia Care’s mission is to improve pregnancy, birth and the postpartum journey for women and their families by reimagining how maternity care is delivered. Our team is focused on building trust-based engagement and wrap-around support for expectant moms at home, in person and virtually to ensure they have all the social support they need for a successful and joyful pregnancy journey. We help our members with care navigation, doula support, assistance with lactation, nutrition, housing, transportation and a wide range of other needs. We leverage technology to support our virtual engagement that allows us to meet all our moms where they are.

We ensure that our members have trusted sources for support, resources, and information throughout their pregnancy, delivery and well into postpartum. Nadia Care does not replace the primary obstetrician or doctor’s relationships. Instead, we support expectant mothers with all other health-related social needs not typically available through their doctors’ offices.

Our Values:

  • Empathy is at the heart of everything we do. We must always center the experiences of the mothers and families we serve, as well as support and uplift one another.
  • Collaboration is what makes us stronger. We achieve the greatest impact when we work together, share knowledge, and elevate each other’s strengths.
  • Resilience reflects our ability to push through challenges, adapt in a fast-changing environment, and remain committed to our mission no matter the obstacles.

You are fluent in AI as a practitioner, not just a buzzword. You have hands-on experience using AI tools, whether Claude, ChatGPT, or similar to accelerate your own work: drafting analyses, building internal tooling, generating and pressure-testing ideas, or automating repetitive workflows. At Nadia Care, this matters because we're a lean team operating in a space where speed of learning and execution is a competitive advantage, and we expect our PMs to be active participants in how AI shapes the products and workflows we build.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Own and execute the roadmap for our internal care delivery tools, prioritizing high-impact features that maximize care team throughput while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
  • Cut through the noise to evaluate which product opportunities are truly worth immediate investment, balancing clinical desires with core business and technical realities.
  • Leverage data, user feedback, and A/B testing to make informed, objective product decisions that meet compliance standards, ensure accurate data flow, and are scalable as Nadia Care grows.

Workflow Optimization

  • Embed deeply with the care delivery team to thoroughly map and understand their workflows, effectively becoming an internal subject matter expert (SME) on their tools, painpoints, and needs.
  • Design automated task-routing systems and clinical decision support tools that allow our care operations to seamlessly scale within existing and new markets.
  • Embrace a creative mindset by developing and deploying semi-automated or interim manual workarounds to solve immediate operational friction while long-term automation is being built.

Interoperability & Integrations

  • Lead the technical strategy for integrating our EHR with our internal backend platform and third-party tools.
  • Partner closely with internal EHR specialists to deeply master our systems’ native configurations, features, and limitations to maximize platform utility.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis

  • Interface directly with internal and external stakeholders to build deep rapport, driving market research and competitive analysis to identify product differentiation opportunities.

Stakeholder Alignment

  • Act as the primary bridge between Care Operations, Engineering, Data, and Compliance (HIPAA / SOC2) to ensure product decisions reflect both clinical and technical realities.
  • Serve as a protective shield for the technical team, stepping in to absorb lightweight project management and scrum master duties to maximize their focus on building high-leverage technical infrastructure.
  • Manage relationships across a large, fast-moving care delivery team; meet them where they are, set clear expectations, and confidently stand your ground to ensure the roadmap is driven by strategic impact and technical realities.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of thriving in high-growth startup environments.
  • You know how to build momentum quickly without a pre-written playbook and you understand early-stage startup limitations and don't wait for perfect resources.
  • Comfortable discussing API integration, database relationships and common frameworks for exchanging data within the healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of healthcare system operations, how health plans work, an experience working with healthcare data - HL7 and ADT feeds, and Claims data
  • Experience working with Care Delivery Teams.
  • Team player with exceptional communication skills, able to work efficiently and deliver on your and the team's commitments
  • Willing and eager to master new technologies; hands-on experience with Athena EHR (including Athena Telehealth), Spruce Health, Acuity, and HubSpot is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies, UX/UI principles, market research and competitive analysis
  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel, Tableau
  • Great attention to detail and commitment to customer service
  • You possess a natural drive to go above and beyond, a high comfort level with ambiguity, the ability to learn quickly, and pivot without losing speed.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
